When the Reapers were defeated, the galaxy believed that Shepard and Anderson were both lost in the final battle. However, the two long-time friends were also known for not letting death stand in their way.

Waking up, in the middle of a desert, on an uncharted planet they both embark on their strangest mission yet. Attempting to find their way back to the Human Alliance, a place called Canterlot may hold the answers they seek. But first, they had to get there while trying not to draw too much attention to themselves.

Too bad for Anderson since massive explosions and collateral damage followed Shepard wherever she went, without fail.

Research log #579

It's been over one and a half years ago since the last activation of the device, though the magical signature hasn't changed it seems... weakened, to such a degree that the re-activation is impossible.

As described in the notes of research log #249 any attempt at providing the device an artificial source of magic to power failed, the device simply needed more energy than even the combined magical power of both Princess Luna and Celestia were capable of providing. You must be wondering now, I've already described these circumstances in previous logs so why bring it up now?

Simply said I'm out of options, every attempt of reactivating the device have failed and I'm only left with a single choice. I'm going to have to reverse engineer the device in an attempt to understand the mechanics with which it operates...

...At the risk of maybe never being unable to reconstruct it later.

I'm so sorry Fluttershy, I never should have involved you or any of the girls in the exploration of this structure. I hope that if we ever see you again you can find it in yourself to forgive me.

Twenty years after the Reaper war Shepard returns to a place she once called home to find someone that will change her and Garrus' life forever.
Four months after the Anon-A-Miss incident Sunset as finally started to trust her friends again, but she still feels like something is missing.
Watch as a few simple choices turn both Sunset's and Shepard's live upside down as they try to get used to their new lives. Lives full of magic and friendship, of family and hope.

Commander Shepard was ready to sacrifice her life to destroy the Reapers, so she was quite shocked when she didn’t die, but awoke in a mysterious forest. Without knowing how she got there, she was stranded on a distant planet. There she met a new species: The Ponies. A kind people, who offered her help to get back to council space. But what exactly happened to the universe in Shepard’s absence? A new danger arose on the horizon ready to extinguish the one, who defeated the Reapers, and everybody she loved.

See that title? That's me. Observer. Title equals main character, capiche? Just remember that I'm that one guy that jumps from Universe to Universe being a hero and stuff, like other dummies, except he enjoys it! 'He' being 'I', remember that, kiddies. The only downside is the pain. Which is quite plentiful. I think I'm rambling. I'm supposed to describe this adventure in particular! Let's see, I mess with six little ponies, two specific princesses, and two Wastelanders while saving the day. Sounds about right, and what more would anybody want!? More random characters, I guess, which there is! And maybe a plot that doesn't revolve around me. Blah. Well, at least things always turn out fine for everyone...

That hanging ellipses means nothing, ignore it. A mere typo.

To sum up, just know that things get pretty crazy. Not random crazy, that's just dumb. It's the the type of crazy where there's a story and a plot and emotional, serious bits and everything that makes a story. What's crazy about that? Me! But I'm not the crazy one, just my predicaments. Thought I should make that clear. Claritin clear.

Oh, and though this is crossing over with multiple Universes, knowledge of those Universes is not required. The author has given pictures! Isn’t that grand!? Every four year old's dream!

This story is a sequel to Mass Effect: Resurrection

With a flash of light in the center of the library known as Golden Oaks, a unicorn mare vanished leaving only a scorch mark in the shape of her Cutie Mark. This mare is known by everypony as Twilight Sparkle and as she appears on the plan of ascension she finds a strange screen that leads to another life she lived. One full of pain and hardship as well as friendship and love as she raced about the galaxy aboard the Normandy.

Ok, so I loved this idea so much that I had to pick it up from the author, Helljumper206. And while I will be writing this with my own flair and style all credit for the idea goes to them.

Though to be honest I have no idea where this story is going to go, I have a feeling it will be an interesting ride nonetheless.

Act I: Maretropolis
Katy has been through a lot in her life, being treated like a nobody, but now that she's in a brand new world full of talking ponies, she wants to make a name for herself, but she keeps getting showed up by a group of heroes called The Power Ponies, but also by a young man who claims to know her. And to top it all off, she was labeled a vigilante and is wanted by the Maretropolis Police Force, but that isn't going to stop her.

This is the story of how she became Equestria's greatest hero.
