As a big storm approaches Ponyville, Pumpkin and Pound Cake steal through the cellar of Sugar Cube Corner, on a mission to claim the cookies and milk promised them by the Ancient Ones.

The world is a strange and wonderful place, particularly if you are a child of Ponyville. Pound and Pumpkin Cake explore their tiny corner of Equestria.

Yesterday, the Cakes put Pumpkin and Pound on the train to head off to their first year at college.

Excited to try out her secret new apple-and-cinnamon cupcake recipe, Pinkie Pie bakes a batch and heads for Sweet Apple Acres, believing Applejack to be the best judge of apple-tasting baked goods in Ponyville. When Applejack makes an off-hoof comment, Pinkie Pie may just surprise her friend with more than her delicious pastries.

After Pinkie's new cake test run goes awry, the Cakes are left with a hole in the wall. Mister Cake goes to the hardware store to pick up supplies to fix it, with the help of his kids.
