Jai Young is 20 fresh out of his parents house and happy to be away from home. Moving out was the best thing he'd ever done with all of the constant fighting at home. Despite moving out and landing a pretty good job as a cook at an upscale restaurant he feels; out of place. The sense of displacement doesn't last too long though. One run in with an interesting old man however changes his relatively boring life and immediately flips it on its head. He wakes up in foreign land with magic he doesn't understand how to use, with a threat known to most history books in Equestria and the Crystal Empire unfolding in real time around him. Yea that's fine, he can make this work; He always has.

Sombra through a miraculous and cruel twist of fate has survived death, leaving the the princess no choice but to imprison him. But, seeing more to Sombra than the anger and hatred that others see in him, Twilight suggests Sombra be reformed. So Luna offers to place him in the care of one of her ponies to help him.

So, Blue Crest, general of the night guard, is given this seemingly impossible mission to reform the former tyrant. But soon, both ponies start to see a different side of Sombra, and both discover that Sombra may be more than they think he is.

In his pursuit to recreate a pleasure from home in Equestria, Anon lets ponies experience some of his memories. It goes about as well as you'd expect.

While Twilight was enjoying a well-deserved vacation from her duties as a princess in the Crystal Empire and perhaps using her time to investigate an enigmatic flower, she never imagined that the discovery of something shocking would end up returning her to where it all began, literally.

Now, she intends to stop the threat posed by that being, even if it must be necessary to do it alone.

But regardless, she just wasn't ready for it.

Nopony was prepared to end up in an unknown place, no one was prepared to deal with the King of the Shadows himself, let alone none were ready to face the consequences that would bring.

After all, who would be ready to start having feelings for whom they shouldn't?

On a day as ordinary as any other, the Cutie Map assigns a new friendship mission to Twilight, who soon becomes concerned about the place it tells her to go.

She will need a lot of courage and willpower when she discovers that her now assigned mission is to reform one of her oldest and most terrifying enemies: King Sombra.

And as the task is carried out, the pieces of the puzzle of the past will begin to fit together and make sense, accompanied by new nascent feelings that no one could ever have believed possible.

When King Sombra accepts the princess' offer with malicious intentions, he will be surprised with different and unexpected obstacles that will not make things as easy as he thought they would be. Especially when the different attitudes and qualities of the princess in charge of him, instead of making him hate her, begin to create a peculiar feeling of curiosity within him.

However, when a sinister and seemingly powerful evil that is somehow linked to him is unleashed upon Equestria and the Crystal Empire, giving himself the opportunity to explore his feelings will not be an easy task.

King Sombra survived the power of the Crystal Heart, and for a moment, it seemed as if his victory was assured.

But then the undead warlock Richard shows up. Turns out, he's been talking to the Crystal Ponies, hearing tales of what they've suffered at Sombra's hands. And surprisingly enough, he is not a fan of what Sombra has been up to.

Needless to say, Sombra's day has just taken a turn for the worse to end all turns for the worse.

A short, silly crossover between My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Looking For Group. Dark tag is for Black Comedy and Richard being... well, actually, he's really being a lot more morally upright than he usually is in the original webcomic. Probably has something to do with the fact that his preferred battlecry is "for pony". Anyway, even though the target of Richard's depredations may be fully deserving of it (this time, at least), there are still implications of an I Have No Mouth Yet I Must Scream-esque fate, so the dark tag stays in place.

King Sombra has been brought back by Grogar and has set out on his own. But he stops for a moment, to contemplate his actions, and make a new plan.

This morning, Shining Armor thought that his daughter's goth phase was his biggest worry. Now, he has to deal with a retired stage magician, a smoke monster that refuses to stay dead, the dumbest possible parallel universe, AND his daughter's goth phase.

Nothing about this makes any sense... and why does King Sombra seem oddly afraid of Trixie...?

Quite possibly the crackiest of all crack fics I have ever written for any fandom to date. I wrote this in about a week and had an absolute BLAST writing it. Contains...

King Sombra has been officially retired from his villainous ways for over a month and still lives in the same house as Private Iceland and his friends. However, the newest addition to the house, Blue Axe, the son of Private and Dew, seems to like pouncing him, even if the colt is barely a month old.

Sombra is personally impressed by the colt's bravey, but Blue Axe's parents are a bit alarmed how aggressive their little boy behaves with the Master of Fear and Hate. How will Sombra end up dealing with this, or they themselves for the matter?

Or is it possible they are just overthinking things?
