Set during an Old West Earth, Adagio Dazzle is the leader of a gang, living up her life as much as she can. However, a certain fiery-haired woman has caught her eye, making Adagio evaluate her life once more. After her day of drinking at the saloon, the gang leader finds out she is being kicked out of the gang she established. In the most unceremonious way possible as well... After all is said and done, Adagio finally realizes her own feelings for Sunset Shimmer and decides that she has to keep on living just to see her one more time.

Hello, everyone! This little short story is an entry into the Sunset x Villain Period Piece contest! I know I'm cutting it a little close, but that's because I really struggled coming up with a story idea I would actually like to write. This story is inspired by Red Dead Redemption, a video game I played a lot when I was younger and I highly recommend you do so too! It has a great story and entertaining characters, so it is worth one playthrough, even if you don't like shooting games!

Your hammock is set up, your cooler is nice and full, and the shade underneath these Ponyville oak trees feels quite heavenly. Yup, it's going to be a good day.

Twilight, on the other hand, doesn't understand why you would want to do something so... mundane.

Everyone in Ponyville is preparing for the event of the summer: Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich's wedding! Unfortunately, Flurry starts to notice something just isn't right: Pinkie seems to be a little stressed out and not exactly herself. Perhaps Flurry is just a little apprehensive about the fact that her own parents had to deal with a changeling invasion in their wedding years ago. Twilight has the Changeling Necklace which helps her to see through changeling disguises, so everything should be fine, right? Also, why is Maud acting so weird?

Inspired by the official show, this is part of a fan-made sequel series I created called "Flurry Heart's Story", which documents the adventures of Flurry Heart as she makes friends and faces new and familiar villains, some of which may still be redeemable.
