Discord gives the baby Flurry Heart a nice present which of course has its own magical twist to it. Cadance is about to find out what being a foal is like. Rather fun really.

There can only ever be one captain of the Wonderbolts, that's a rule that everypony knows. In order for a new captain to take over the old one must either die, retire or step down. Such is the situation that Spitfire finds herself in.

With Rainbow Dash poised to take over as captain and lead the Wonderbolts into a new era, Spitfire grapples with her decision to retire from the team she's lead for so long. And as she prepares to hoof over the reigns she starts to reflect back to her younger days.

Spitfire will recall all the ups and downs she's had as captain and how she even rose to the rank in the first place. After all, a mare like her being in charge of the greatest performance flyers in all of Equestria comes with a lot of memories.

Princess Cadance provides her daughter Flurry Heart another wonderful day again... and again... and again--oh no.

There are violence in bossfight chapters, and mild violence such as hitting the head with a frying pan in regular chapters.

And also, I don't use some fancy words in this fanfic. I don't really use them and It's hard to read and understand to others. And I will write the story on my perspective.)

This fic was more or less a trial run. I wasn't entirely sure how I liked to write, both stylistically and fundamentally, so I just... started writing to see where my goofy little fingers would take us. Here we are many a month later, a few life-altering occurances cameth barreleth downeth myeth humbleth path ...eth, and now my new and improved eyeballs are telling me that I'm not too fond of this fic anymore. I still love Ditzy x Flutterbutter, nothing against the pairing, I just feel that I could have done them better.

I still have occasional ideas dive-bombing my goopy brain every so often as to where I could take poor Blueberry, but I think I might leave those on the backburner for now. Blueberry will remain on hiatus until I've accumulated the mental fortitude to rend it from its very foundation and build it anew, so any further ideas I have can truly blossom the way I envision them to.

If you still wanna give it a read, feel free! It's not the best, Aah knows it, but it was pretty fun to write. Who knows, maybe I really will give it a good overhaul somewhere down the road. For now though, it shall lay dormant, as will I.
