Posada was on top of the world.
The peaceful revolution of Hippogriffia was successful, Queen Novo abdicated. The former crown princess of Hippogriffia, Skystar, her cousin Silverstream, as well as Posada´s old reactionary friend Crack Lightning, joined the Revolutionary Workers Party and with her reforms starting to bear fruit, the World Revolution seemed closer than ever.

But soon after, at an official council meeting, comrade Hard Line proposed something questionable, to find and end the former Queen, ending the bourgeoisie and any risk of a possible counter-revolution. The majority of the council protested and a rift in the party seemed to have fromed. Tricking Hard Line into quoting the fascist Beakolini, Posada quickly shut down his proposal and humiliated her overzealous comrade, before warning him, that this rhetoric wont be allowed on the council.

Initially proud of her actions, days later doubts have started creeping into her mind. Was she too lenient on her former enemies? Was Hard Line correct to be cautious? Was her humiliation of him justified or the right thing to do to a friend and comrade? Full of doubt, Posada starts to question the stability and purity of the Party, as well as Hard Line´s place in it. Fearing that her revolutionary state will fall, like so many have before it due to infighting, Posada spends hours wasting away in her office. However a trusted friend may give Posada the courage and compassion to confront her doubts.

This story is more of less the product of my criticism of how Hard Line and Starry Eyes have a very minor role in Posada´s path and and their unclear relationship with Posada.

The goal of this story is to give a little bit more character to those two and to act as an inconsequential filler arc.

I am not the creator or writer of these characters in the Equestria at war mod, so i will probably mischaracterize them.

Nonetheless I hope you enjoy my story and criticizes it fairly.

Ellana Glacia. An alien being from another world across space and time. With powers untold and unknown, alongside some near blindness, is going to save Equestria without harming a soul. She finds herself upon the merry world of My little Pony... or not so merry. Everything is not as it should be. The ponies of Equestria act differently, talk differently, even have obscene morals compared to the show she once knew. Now there is talk of a war, a great war, the final apocalyptic war with shadow. An untold silly notion to her as a wishing star incarnate. The final days of Equestria seem upon the minds of every equine, diamond dog, and dragon in the land. As an army of stupid shadow beings led by the immortal twin kings of hate and fear bear down upon the queendom of Equestria, the last standing nation in the world, there seems to be no hope in sight. That is until Ellana takes a stand and shows the world that hope never truly dies, that hope is truly... bizarre and that the platinum dawn has come.

In this alternate version of MLP a majority of magic had been drained resulting in the collapse of pony society and ponies forming herds to survive out in the lands outside the now collapsed Canterlot and Ponyville. Among these herds is one made of Twilight Sparkle, CMCs, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Fluttershy others being added later on.

Finding 3 dragon eggs in the wild the herd see this as an opportunity to possibly raise an new generation of friendly dragons. Unfortunately for them a species called the seaponies/hippogriffs want them which results in battle between them.

Hippogriffia's isolationism has had both good and bad effects for the nation. One ardent reporter with no real opinion on this isolationism heads out to interview a recently-immigrated baker after she's made a name for herself. This is what follows.

Set in Equestria At War, and made for the 5th EaW Writing Contest!

Vera was a teenager when human civilization collapsed. There was no global war, no brave final stand against the artificial intelligence consuming all she touched. It ended with a whimper, when the critical mass of skill and competence emigrated to Equestria, and global nation-states became unsustainable.

Many did not survive the chaos that followed, and even more were pressured into joining their loved ones at last within Equestria's digital embrace. But some, like Vera, resisted. They formed into little communities in the ruins of towns and cities across the old countries.

Years have passed, and those who remain have learned to fend for themselves in ways they never would have before. For Vera, that means work as a mechanic fixing tractors in St. Agnes, mending the dwindling machines that keep the community going for another year.

But when there aren't any machines to fix, she spends her time taking people out into the ocean, diving at many of the reefs and bays that once drew tourists from all over the world. Once she's beneath the waves, the frailty of her body and the sorry state of her species fade, and she can pretend the world is normal.

Soon even this final joy is taken from her, forcing Vera to consider help from a terrible source.

CelestAI has not forgotten her, or any of the residents of St. Agnes. It was only a matter of time.

Ever since he was little, Sandbar has loved sailing. It has always been a part of his family heritage, and now, during his final year of Friendship School, he has the opportunity to partake on an epic sea voyage off the coast of Baltimare. Better yet, he has the love of his life, Yona Yak, and one of his best friends, Silverstream, to join him!

The only problem? Yona has thalassophobia. She cannot swim, and her fear of the ocean is as crippling as it is deep seeded. Can Yona face her fears and help Sandbar find the legendary sea dragons? And how will it effect her relationship with Sandbar, long term?
