A vicious thunderstorm wracks a desert in Equestria. Torch is flying in said storm and is struck, holding a precious gem that mattered the most. Meanwhile Thunderhooves and his wife are dealing with a pregnancy while the world around them is storming. This is how they meet, in a show of strength where none was thought to be found.

A strength that Little Strongheart knew all too well, a strength that bore fruit from something so fragile and so small, yet it was the strongest one of them all.

Even the town of Appleloosa celebrates Hearth's Warming, and Braeburn thinks it's the best time of the year. Naturally, he can't resist talking about it when he writes letters to Little Strongheart of the buffalo tribe.

Little Strongheart soon becomes quite curious about this holiday, and decides to experience it for herself. To that end, she leaves her tribe and journeys into Appleloosa to spend the holiday with Braeburn, much to his surprise.

Still, Braeburn is delighted to play the host and show Little Strongheart how wonderful the holiday of Hearth's Warming can be. Will Little Strongheart come to enjoy and cherish the holiday as much as Braeburn?

Arizona and her family, after a long journey, have made it to Appleloosa. But this young cowgirl isn't satisfied settling down with ranch life. Meeting the local Braeburn, along with Sheriff Silverstar and Little Strongheart. These four are keen on stopping a rough-and-tumble gang in a recent string of train robberies.

This story is part of the Travelers Tales side story collection and canon to The Equestria Chronicles. But you DO NOT have to read those stories to enjoy this one.

Now, Trixie and her fellow Galaxy Rangers find themselves in a dying world, battling against a queen whose power seems unbeatable.

Everything is not lost, however. Trixie finds herself new and unexpected allies, but a terrible new foe as well. A familiar face from the past still holds a grudge and won't even die until she's settled the score.

Weird, isn’t it? How the world can end before you even notice. I was twelve; not old enough to remember much of anything. Just cartoons and cuddles and my Nana’s oatmeal cookies. Just enough to make me miss it when everything went to hell.

Lozen spends her time roaming the halls of her apartment block, trying to fill her empty summer days and wishing she had the courage to make some friends. Wishing her parents would stop working long enough to notice her. Wishing she were better, braver, like the heroes from her Nana's stories. When she catches a glimpse of the new world that the ponypads offer, she seizes the moment with both hands. A decision she will live to regret.

In the interest of full disclosure, this is a story about a Native American protagonist and I am not personally Native American. I have done my best to properly research everything I can about the Kiowa Apache and their history, and tried to write the most sensitive portrayal that I can. Yona and Sandbar are happily married, but nasty talk around town about their size difference have Sandbar a bit on edge. How can he be the stallion she deserves if he doesn't fit into the traditional role of being the bigger and stronger one?

Luckily, he runs into a stallion who went through something similar and gets a few pointers on what masculinity and love truly mean.
