Basically, Apple Jack (And other ponies) get an influx of magic. A dangerous amount. And it turns into a small amount of heat to try to slowly get out of the bodies without causing any excessive damage that would happen if it just spilled all out. However, it still isn't a good time.

The holidays are usually a huge event for the Apples, but sometimes things can slip between the cracks, and even at the best of times, the worst of times can do their best to sabotage things. But for those with a loving family, even that can't stop the simple enjoyment of each other's company.
