Starlight Glimmer, stalwart head mare of the School of Friendship, is being given a birthday party like no other. Pinkie Pie and Applejack are planning a special afternoon for their friend and Sunburst Blaze, her steady boyfriend of some months now, has joined in with the planning to give his betrothed something that she had been denied when she was young, and he intends to set it right. Just what could Starlight's friends have in mind? Read on to find out what.

For spring break, Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst return back to Sire's Hollow to visit with their parents. Being their first trip back as a couple, the two are not looking forward to their parents talk about their relationship. However, both Stellar Flare and Firelight have an exciting announcement to share for when they arrive.

Sunburst is receiving letters too often about the same dull topic of his future from his mother, Stellar Flare. He tries to relax in Ponyville, but now the letters are following him. At the suggestion of Aita, they and Starlight Glimmer take a trip to Sire's Hollow to report Stellar Flare's familial behavior, where FIrelight volunteers to help.

Starlight Glimmer (or at least the human Starlight Glimmer) was defeated and offered a second chance the same way her counterpart was. But just like her counterpart, Starlight is reeling from the regret of everything she did, made even worse since she’s a teenage girl still recovering from the highs magical corruption brought her to.

After Starlight flakes on meeting up with Sunset and her friends one day, Sunset makes her way to Starlights home and forces a talk between the two of them to figure what’s going on with her, talk things out, and perhaps... becoming something more?

Unable to stop Starlight Glimmer's plan to stop the Sonic Rainboom, Twilight Sparkle and Spike pleaded desperately for her to stand down. In canon, Starlight relented at the last second and consequently reformed.

But what would have happened if Starlight gave a different reaction to Twilight's friendship offer and hoof?

Spoiler alert: it ended with one of them in roaring laughter.

Hearth's Warming has come again and Firelight has prepared the stupendously amazing, unquestionably-loving, full of heart and passion celebration for his Pretty-Witty Cinnamon-pop, Stellar Flare. If only they could have spent the hours coming up with new pet names, it would have been the best Hearth's Warming ever. It would have spectacular, if not for his own mess-up on the gift department for her.

How hard can it be to get the perfect surprise present for Stellar, anyway?
