Mistwake, a young hippogriff student, begins attending the School of Friendship. Her roommate is annoying, she can't stop thinking of home, and there's something off about her pink-haired professor. Horrors hidden in the dark are beginning to reveal themselves.

When her roommate starts coming back to their dorm in the middle of the night, she knows something is definitely wrong. Or is it? Students overworking isn't exactly breaking news. Then again, what exactly could she be working on in the middle of the night?

(Written for "A Change of Pace" Contest. This is my first piece conceived and written for a contest. I'm not exactly sure if I made it on time for the deadline because of timezone differences. If I did, neat. If not, I still like the story. Also, it's written for the Halloween season. Boom, two birds with one story.)

A breakdown in relations between the recently recolored Hope Hollow and Ponyville has Equestria's favorite unicorn trio trekking out to the Hollow to get to the bottom of the matter. Along the way, they'll be drawn into the center of a disappearance mystery, the revelation of a long-lost member of a Great and Powerful family, and a showdown with a villain who's more than meets the camera's eye.

Some time after the trio of villains has been defeated, Nightmare Night is celebrated once again, with all creatures participating in the different activities. In the meantime, Twilight and her friends follow Pinkie as she tells them about a haunted mansion she noticed at Ponyville's outskirts, so they decide to go there and see what it's all about.

For starters, the empty place is in a decaying state, and the panorama is just getting worse as time goes by. As if that wasn't enough, they begin to feel something is watching them...

Bloodhound isn't exactly the most imposing pony. She's scrawny, asthmatic, frail, and socially awkward. The only things she really has going for her are a semi-big brain and a nose like her namesake.

When the tragic death of a close family member happens directly in front of her, Bloodhound stumbles onto a shocking fact: It might have been murder.

But that kind of thing just doesn't happen in Equestria.

With only her personal trainer and an eccentric bureaucrat actually believing her theory, Bloodhound struggles to prove that a cunning killer is on the loose.

This story is a sequel to After the Day Breaks

The prophesied night approaches.

Nightmare Moon has spent nearly a thousand years on the Moon. As the thousandth year since her banishment nears, she prepares her return with a colt she met in the dream realm. Her intention was to change Equestria, to have its citizens pay respects to her and her night.

She did not expect herself to change drastically in the process.

It’s Nightmare Night, and the changelings are getting ready for pranks, tricks, and treats. However, a nymph, Zenex, isn’t so keen on the holiday. It has to do with how many pranks his bullies have pulled on him. But today, his friends pull him out of his bed, and out into the night, where he learns that Nightmare Night isn’t so scary after all.

But why does he smell cinnamon? And hear rattling?

Some may have similar traits and talents, but no two persons are alike when it comes to potential, time, and honing of one's abilities. But what if that single talent you always had, that single specialty you thought you always held onto, that single gift that you unlocked yourself with determination and conviction, vanished right before your very eyes? What if you could no longer use it? What if you could’ve used it to save someone you loved but you couldn’t?

It's a story of one day from race called Demicorns, which live in ancient times in Equestria long before modern days and long before two Alicorn sisters emerge and become princess. There a small piece of life young Demicorn named Orum and a choice she made.

Alone, scared, and with a terrible memory fresh at the forefront of her mind Starlight searches for answers in an empty town.

Fluttershy has never been good at talking. which is unfortunate, because she has some very complicated things to say.
