Sunset Shimmer has faced many demons, both mental and literal. She’s forgiven herself to the path of friendship and has taught others the same like her teachers Princess Celestia and Princess Twilight Sparkle. Sunset has it all but one question has remained in the back of her head since the Memory Stone incident. A deep and nagging question that she’s never considered before until now.

Summers, Springs, Winters, Falls. For many years these four alicorn control the four seasons in Equestria, they were called the alicorn’s of the seasons. That was until Discord showed up, he corrupted the magic in Equestria and the four alicorn’s lost their control over their season’s. For two hundred years the four sisters had no control over their seasons, they wanted that Discord pay for his cries but Celestia refused, so the ponies of Equestria became in charge off the four seasons. The four sisters were also four of the six of the elements of harmony, loyalty, honesty, generosity and laughter. Then Luna became Nightmare Moon and Celestia needed their help and then everything changed.

This is a tale passed down for generations, a tale of an age before there was peace between the Griffons and the Equestrians.

Three months have come and gone since her freedom from the Nightmare, and in that time, she has done much learning. Learning of the new world around her, and what wonders a far more modern Equestria brings. With all light comes darkness; she of all knows this well. The texts she spends time flipping through often do tell of dark, unpleasant things, but all have seemed to be in the past.

Venturing into the world around her, spending nights high in the skies over cities and walking down long town roads, she is quick to discover the present holds its own secrets. In the shadows of accomplishment hides a beast which she is determined to slay.

Twilight was very skilled in magic and adequate in other places. The one thing she was amazing at was solving problems. One example would be Winter Wrap Up. She always thought that a list and following through it was the answer to everything. Rainbow Dash promised that she knew something that Twilight would not be able to fix with a list or following through it. Nopony could.
Twilight had scoffed and said that she would be able to do it if there was a list. Rainbow finally sets the rules. If Twilight manages to finish the task, Rainbow would not prank her for a month. If Twilight wasn't able to do it, then Twilight was not allowed to read for two weeks. Was Twilight up for Rainbow's impossible task or will the task completely change? Only one way to find out...
