It's been many years since Bright Mac and Pear Butter disappeared. Everyone had assumed they died, lost to Timberwolves on a fateful night. But what if that wasn't the case?

As a filly, Applejack is the most friendly pony other than her mom. When another filly moves into the farm across the street, she and the filly quickly become friends. The two go through practically everything together. School, houses burning down, family members passing.

It’s Christmas time at Sweet Apple Acres and everyone is super excited. But Christmas and family time also makes the three Apple children wonder about their mother’s family and past, causing the Apple matriarch to think about what made her hide what happened from her children in the first place.

Scootaloo and Apple Bloom get into an argument involving parents, more specifically the difference between Scootaloo's family situation and Apple Bloom's. Eventually, Scootaloo makes a hurtful remark that causes Apple Bloom to break off their friendship for the time being.

Racked with guilt for what she said, Scootaloo tries to find a way to make things right and win back Apple Bloom's friendship. But how can she when she doesn't know what it's like to grow up never truly getting to know your parents?

After some consulting and advice with her aunts, Scootaloo comes up with a solution. Meanwhile, Apple Bloom tries to come to terms with a guilt she thought she'd successfully buried.

Apple Bloom blinked. This here poem's dedicated to my father, up above. But maybe y'all will feel a connection to y'all's Pops, too. So, uh, here:

Fluttershy and Big Mac meet up for one of their monthly trans pony picnics. Unfortunately Pinkie Pie's brownies are much stronger than either knew. Big Mac ends up going on a wild high and meeting her parents, who aren't aware how much has changed since they passed.

As a school assignment, Applebloom has to write down a story of what was her fondest memories of her mom and dad, the problem of that is that Applebloom doesn't remember her parents. She doesn't remember anything about them.

So, she decides to consult with the ponies who does remember.

Nobody revealed how exactly Pear Butter and Bright Mac died, but it most likely had something to do with the feud between the Pears and the Apples. We all know how it all started: a rivalry between the two families, one favoring pears over apples. This caused some tension between Granny Smith and Grand Pear, which caused arguments left and right. It's like they never got along, letting their rivalry get in the way of everything else. This caused tension for the two star-crossed lovers, Pear Butter and Bright Mac, ending in the worst way possible.

A teen boy and girl were revived after an unknown organization found their bodies after committing suicide from depression from the lost of their family.

This organization now keeps them prisoner and has them do their bidding to get rid of demons gone rogue utilizing the power of demons within them. The boy becomes Kamen Rider Vail and the girl becomes Kamen Rider Dreadvice. A voice they've heard in their own minds told them that two demons were responsible for their families deaths.

With their memories been erased after being revived and no memory of their own names, they're are forced to cooperate with this organization. However, the more demons that they destroy, the more they become demons themselves. Until one day when they lost control and were buried under rubble, they met two people who never saw them as demons. A girl who is a owner of a bath house, and a boy who is an employee of that bath house.

Could these people truly give what these two have lost?

Out of bitter tragedy, Bright Macintosh vowed to Pear Butter that he would never abandon her. And he did not.

Six years later, a different choice gave him a second chance.

Now he has to learn the hardest lesson of all: how to stop surviving, and how to start living.
