I've heard a lot of perspectives on how Equestria began through ponies, griffons, and many other races, but none of them are the real deal.
To those who are more inclined to science, the world was created by forces magic and gravity. Said factors clumping rocks together to form Equis and the sun and moon that orbit it about five hundred thousand years ago. Partially true, in a sense, but still too young, and too less time for evolution.
The more religous fanatics, mainly ponies, believed in an even more ridiculous story that their very rulers are the creators of THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE! Get a hobby, zealot boy! Some claim Celestia and Luna are omniscient and omnipotent, but that's obviously not the case. Again, partially true.
Primitive culture, isn't it. No, I'm not gonna tell you another one of those. No, no, no. I am gonna tell you the truth of how it began. Now how would I know? Well, it was because I was there. I'll tell you the true story from my birth and life as a human to the world you all know and love.
