From Equestria to a world where unicorns are hunted and killed, Rarity's friends rush to her aid, only to find themselves quickly enmeshed in a great war. It is a world where Equestria fell apart in its early days, Hearth's Warming never happened, and an eternal winter night blankets the land under a permanent sheet of ice.

The Order of the Hatten Vanguard vindictively hunts unicorns and rules its citizens with an iron hoof. They claim that their ruthless tyranny is necessary for the survival of ponykind against the cold, and that only the extermination of all the unicorns will starve the winter of the magic that fuels it, and they may be right.

The Ceruleans claim The Order must fall, that its cruel reign is what brings the winter.

Both sides are willing to fight to the bitter end to bring the summer sun.

The world is a tapestry of the lives and deaths of heroes and villains on both sides, of leaders struggling to know what course will bring their dawn, of powerful secret societies with mysterious and ambitious goals, and where unthinkable new technology threatens to change the world forever. It is a world in turmoil, and a world in need of heroes of every kind.

It is a world apart from Equestria.

Twilight's life was a simple one. She studied the magic of friendship along her friends and with Spike's help but, when she had to face Discord, something went wrong.

Now her life has moved back to a point before meeting her friends, Spike has disappeared and any attempt to mention him distorts everything around her, some strange foxes are appearing everywhere she goes to, she sees strange occurrences which, for some reason, everybody seems to ignore and she hears a strange voice that nobody else seems to notice.

What is going on? What happened to Spike? Who are these guys? Why her friends doesn't believe her? Who is this voice and why is so focused on telling her where to go? The only one way for her to find is by starting what will become the quest of her life.

Inspired on the many fics I've seen here based on Equestria being a video game but I'll add a twist, I'm also inspired by this little kickstarter

An idea inspired by something what I saw.

They say Fluttershy is one of the best animal carers around. And despite her demure personality, will go to great lengths to help anyone in need. These attributes are put to the test when she finds a damaged wolf in the Everfree Forest, it wants to lead her onward.

Fighting through her fear, she follows the wolf, to a clearing where something tragically beautiful awaits. Can Fluttershy help, or will the darkness be too much to handle?

When Wallflower Blush married Sunset Shimmer, she had an idea to hike up Mount Aris for their honeymoon. However, they began their trip during a massive blizzard and struggle to make the climb as the cold snow bombards them.

Twilight has sent her friends to find evidence of something that is going to happen but think it's going to be another easy day but there is a far more dangerous threat coming to the city of Metropolis.

There are many ponies inhabiting this grim AU, and all have their stories. There are immigrants fleeing to Equestria, odd ponies trying to fit into the 'normal' world, a government crumbling, and an organization of questionable morals trying to take it over from the shadows. All are connected in trying to fight through the struggles of Civil Equestria.

Things were going poorly to say the least, the nights becoming more and more dangerous, the creatures growing more aggressive.

As members of the royal guard's special elite, Twilight and Rainbow had been assigned to the outpost in the old capital by the Princess herself. They were used to danger, having learned to protect themselves and the citizens and to fight against the monsters that roamed the nearby forest when they wandered into town, but even for someone as experienced as them things were starting to become hard to deal with.

Little did they know, things were about to get much, much worse.

Fandom is a human who spends most of his time playing video games, watching anime, or surfing the web. But when he finds a suspicious cartridge in his trash, he makes the best (or worst) mistake of his life. He soon finds himself in the world of his favorite game series, Super Smash Brothers, or so he thought. Now in RPG version of Smash bros, Fandom must work his way through the dystopian world of Ingress, to help his favorite anime and video games characters stand up to the destructive tyrant, Origin and his Subspace Empire.
