A short one-shot where Sunset and Twilight go to a café to take a break during finals season. Twilight feels a little insecure over her new look, but Sunset is there to ease her fears. This one-shot is a character study of Sunset Shimmer and includes my personal headcanon about her relationships with the two Twilights.

It was a simple dynamic. Simple enough that it didn't require any questions, only the unspoken agreement to remain silent. It only required Twilight broken into pieces, so she could never put herself back together again.
It only required a list in a torn sheet of paper to question it all.

Trigger Warnings: Pretty subtle suggestions of eating disorders and sexual abuse, hence the non-con tag.

During the middle of the night, Sunset receives a text from Twilight. At first, she didn’t think anything of it, until she realized that Twilight was hitting on her, and she was serious about it.

It only got worse better from there.

Sunset was enjoying her day, going through school as she was expected to do, when she's suddenly called to the Principal's office.

Confused, but with little choice in the matter, she answers, heading to Celestia's office. There, she finds the Principal sitting, wanting to have a chat.

Sunset was not prepared for anything like this.

On some level Celestia always understood that a ship could never really love an anchor.

Twilight's run out of ideas for new inventions, so she invents something to fix that.

No one said the machine would produce good ideas.

Wallflower not so discreetly invites Sunset to meet up by the sea. It becomes a date in less than a minute. Emotions are shared and sandwiches had.

Sgt. Sunset Shimmer is dying. Struck in the stomach by a bullet during the heat of combat, she now lays helpless on a deserted battlefield, the conflict having moved on without her. There's not a living soul around to help her... or so it might seem.

Until she's approached by a being from her past, one that she'd desperately hoped never to see again, a creature to which she has given much and owes much more... and one that might be able to save her life.

Twilight Sparkle's coronation as the sole ruler of Equestria is right around the corner. To not disappoint her, Sunset Shimmer decides to come back to Equestria for the first time since her theft of the Princess's crown to attend.

Said Princess's student, Starlight, is there to greet her, but the two of them are surprised to find that Sunset is a princess herself - or at least an alicorn, and her arrival may have unintended consequences for a trio of recently imprisoned villains.

With winter being in full bloom, the Rainbooms and Dazzlings decide to put the cold weather to good use, and go to the ski resort. Some want to try new activities, some want to enjoy the atmosphere, and some just want to be with their special someone.
