Normally in fanfiction, the human gets to Equestria and gets to shag loads and loads of mares. Unfortunately for Devin, he gets thrown off course, landing square into the Frozen North, where the snow is aplenty, the lack of life is high, and the only ones to save him, are yaks. They like to smash...

...and smash again.

Hopefully Devin will survive the initiation ritual, or die trying.

Another idea that was inspired by FamousLastWords's brainstorming session. Maybe he needs to write more HiY/HiE on his main instead of shipping an aged-up Spike with every female character in the show. Nah that's not going to happen.

It's been a little over a year since Princess Flurry Heart founded the settlement of Winter's Hearth deep in the unclaimed territory of the Frozen North, and in that time she and her subjects have faced many dangers. But whether through grit or sheer equine spirit, they've survived every one of them.

So when the yaks of the Northwestern Tribes decide to declare war on them, it feels like just another Tuesday.

This story was originally conceived as an entry to Imposing Sovereigns IV, but I didn't end up writing it until several months after the contest closed. You can read the actual entrants to that contest here! The intended prompt was Flurry Heart/Strength.

My story for The Springtime Sequel-Slash-Sandbox Switcheroo, written for FanOfMostEverything and inspired by his story Daring Do and the Weapon of the Ancients. Reading his story first is in no way necessary (but you should read it), and this story should not in any way spoil his.

Onyx is a young crystal pony with a twisted mind and a complete lack of foresight. He relishes in the suffering of others and has a disturbingly chipper attitude. All this is to help conceal his absurd desire for revenge and bloodlust. When he was young, Starswirl the Bearded whisked him away from the Crystal Empire with promises of being his apprentice. Years later, this led to the one spell that changed Onyx's life and devastated an entire country, and much more.

Sombra is the result of that spell: a young and mysterious creature created by a kind of magic almost as twisted as Onyx's mind. Unfortunately, Onyx is now and forever in his mind, unable to die or age as they are locked in a constant power struggle and a journey across the Arctic that could claim both their lives should something take a tragic turn.

Winter is beginning to overstay its welcome and the students of friendship are getting tired of it. Thankfully, it’s Winter Wrap Up, and some of the students volunteer to help out to get Spring ready. However, most of the students aren’t ready for winter to end and started causing several problems.

Rarity finds herself entrusted with the prestigious duty of crafting regal attire for the imminent Snilldar Fest in Yakyakistan, and she invites her little sister, Sweetie Belle, to accompany her on this chilly journey.

The annual Yaken holiday of Snilldar Fest is a special time of year for all of Yakyakistan as evey yak comes together and indulges in two of their most important aspects of life: family and smashing!

News of Yona's experiences at Twilight's School of Friendship prompts Prince Rutherford of Yakyakistan to meet with the headmare and 'clear the air' with regard to recent school events.

It's Yickslurbertfest in Yakyakistan, and one yak is particularly excited as Yona enjoys everything about her life in Yakyakistan. When Prince Rutherford is given a request to send a young yak to a new school in Equestria set up by Princess Twilight to learn about friendship, he sets up a series of games to find the best young yak for the school, and Yona wants to take part.
