When Dean Cadence fails to bring peace and order back to the noble elite school, Sour Sweet takes it into her hands to solve this mystery and bring down justice on the culprits. With the help of her fellow Watsons Shadowbolts, will the self-proclaimed Sherlock Holmes be able to solve this mysterious crime? Or is her ingenious mind actually just full of hot air?

When Moondancer transfers to a new school, Crystal Prep, she is not sure if she will be able to fit in. She makes 2 new friends, and everything seems to be going well. However, as time goes on, Moondancer questions if they really like her or if they simply need something from her.

Ever since Twilight Sparkle transferred to CHS, her personal laboratory within Crystal Prep has stood empty. She finally decides to pass it on to Sugarcoat, but when she realizes that the isolation improves her test scores, Sugarcoat may be tempted to throw away her new friendships to take over Twilight's vacant position as the smartest student in Crystal Prep Academy.

Sugarcoat has been monitoring the human world's Sunset Shimmer for a while now, and she has finally found an avenue in which to learn more about her. But in order to take advantage of it, she may have to become something she doesn't want to be.

Whatever path she chooses, will she end up plunging in way over her head?

The first summer vacation after the world changed was eventful for most of the top Shadowbolts. Some came to understand one another. Some got lost outside of reality. Sugarcoat and Moondancer just fumbled their way through a relationship as best they could given their combined social acumen was comparable to a sheet of sandpaper.

The school year has begun, and they're still not entirely sure how to make this whole "them" thing work. At this point, Sugarcoat is getting fed up with the passive approach.

She just never considered that Moondancer might be as well.

An unfortunate chain of events leaves Sugarcoat from Crystal Prep Academy with a bunch of electric scrap and empty pockets. To refill her purse, she decides to earn some money by taking on a job as a babysitter: On a Friday evening, she is supposed to watch over a pair of twins in the neighboring town. Despite the warnings of her fellow Shadowbolts friends, she is convinced that watching over a pair of toddlers will be a piece of cake.

It soon turns out however being a babysitter requires a little bit more work than she first thought...

After the world changed, Twilight Sparkle wasted no time in making a clean break from Crystal Prep High. After all, it wasn't like she was leaving anyone behind.

Or so she thought. No instance of Twilight can totally avoid forming interpersonal bonds, and Dean Cadence doesn't have a monopoly on human decency at Crystal Prep. A few students really do miss Twilight. One is going to do something about it.

When an opportunity to actually perform and direct one of her works pops up Sunny is more than eager to take it. But as she tries to bring her vision onto the stage, she is not only confronted with the difficulties of transmitting that vision to the other Shadowbolts - but also with the flaws in her own script.
