Clover the Clever never asked for his life to get so complicated.  It was bad enough tricking a drunk Imperatrix Celestia, war goddess of the Three Tribes, out of her accidental coup against Queen Platinum.  But now the most dangerous pony in Equestria has returned to trade her claim on the sun for a chance to woo him.

On top of that, his erstwhile mentor Star Swirl the Bearded has saddled him with a mysterious magical necklace and a uniquely bleak and pointless prophecy: If he's brave enough, and if he's clever enough, he just might survive Celestia for long enough to break her heart.

Recommended by PresentPerfect! "horizon gave me the story I needed rather than the one I wanted ... along the way we get some very strong lessons about love, and meditations on the value of a lifetime and what one pony can achieve on their own."

"There’s going to be a lot of tears shed when this one hits publish." –Georg
"You need to read Time Enough For Love. I literally swore out loud when my computer crashed when I was halfway through, and then I immediately whipped out my smartphone to finish it. And now I'm reading it again in a desperate attempt to figure out how it does its job so damn well." –Bachiavellian
"I can get behind some historical revisionism for such a brilliant story. The writing is second-to-none … I laughed, I cried, and I felt other things too." –Trick Question

This story is a sequel to To Bring Light to Eternal Darkness

Feature boxed on Feb 28, 2024.

Blue Moon is a deep blue orphan earth pony foal with a crescent moon cutie mark in a splotch of blank paint. Her talent for moving the moon interferes with day and night—favoring the night, of course. Ponies in power have begun to notice. Her life working as a ward of a workhouse/orphanage is about to change. When it means meeting a scary white fire unicorn, she worries it's not for the better.

The story takes place during the Princesses Platinum area, months after the original story. It is decades before the battle between the sisters, and years before the founding of Equestria. It is marked [Teen] because of an orphanage out of Oliver Twist. I am publishing as three chapters. They will all be published within this week.

Whilst this story is a continuation of To Bring Light to Eternal Darkness, it can be read standalone. It was supposed to be the first chapter in a sequel to the original story, but that didn't happen. It's been modified to be a short novelette. It may seem like it ends on a cliffhanger, but think of it as sparking your imagination to think about a much more interesting history for the royal sisters and Equestria.

If the story gets sufficient likes and comments, I'll consider extending it.

Years have passed now sense the Wendigos were defeated. And the construction of Equestria's first outpost has finally been completed. The good times should be starting to begin. There not. For while the Wendigos might be gone, the old grudges between the three pony tribes have begun to reemerge, threatening to tear apart the fledgling nation before it can even truly begin.

At the center of it all is Smart Cookie, one of Equestria's original founders, as well as one of its newly appointed leaders. Thus making her responsible for finding a way to unite the three pony tribes into a single unified country. But can such a thing be accomplished when your working against generations of bullying, blackmail, and thievery between three groups of vastly different ponies? Perhaps the answer can be found with an explanation for why the the Earth Pony is suddenly seeing and hearing thunder and lightning over the horizon, when there's not a cloud in the sky.

This will be my first ever attempt at fan fiction. So please don't hold back with the constructive criticism.

Also, I'm still relatively new to the fandom, and haven't seen that many episodes in their entirety. Most of what I know has come from reaction videos and episode reviews. So please don't be afraid to point out any continuity errors in my story as well.

I hope you enjoy!

The Hearth's Warming story is timeless in Equestria. Every year, the traditions are done and reminders of what hate brings are given and taken. While the story of the first Hearth's Warming is told to every filly and colt in the bright and colorful manner of a stage-play, there is a lot more that isn't said. Before Hearth's Warming, the three tribes had hate between them, but also a reluctant tolerance as they relied on each other to survive. Once the blizzard of the Wendigos began, they blamed each other. This lead to a Great War over racist accusations. This is the story of that war, and the story of one pony in particular that tried to fight for the right thing. The story about his struggles to create peace in a desolate, frozen landscape. This is a story about a War Pony.

A powerful love story from Equestria’s history has been forgotten to time, yet it continues to this day.

Princess Celestia and Smart Cookie have watched Equestria rise. They’ve guarded it, and each other, against the most vile threats and darkest nights. They share a dream that’s entwined their hearts for two thousand years, and a love that’s given them the strength to see it realized.

Now they face the ultimate test of that love; one that comes not from monsters or armies, but from the opposed wills of two ponies who want only what’s best for one another, their friends, and Equestria, and who can’t back down when any of those things are at stake.

(Canon taken into account through season 6... this took me a long time to finish.)
