Spike bakes a pie and visits Rarity. He hasn't visited her in a while, since his romantic hopes with her have vanished, but he recognizes she's still a friend. During his visit, he learns some things about ponies he didn't know before.

This story is part of a trade with Fancy_Blue, who wanted a cute story with Spike and Rarity. The cover art is by xniclord789x; I couldn't find anything more fitting.

Spike heads out to ask Rarity to go to the carnival with him as good friends. As usual, things don't go they way he hoped. And not in a bad way.

Sometimes things can turn into something better, for reasons only another knows.

Everyone still meets with each other, just less often as their lives continue.
Spike works more often with Rarity these days.
But one day before one of Pinkie's Parties, the two go out on some errands.
However, destiny brings the two together it seems.

One Hearts and Hooves day, Rarity is helping Twilight test a new transformation spell that ends up with her becoming a giant dragon. After being chased away by the frightened citizens of Ponyville, Rarity flees to the mountains. Spike then has to set out on a journey in order to save the girl of his dreams.

EDIT: I went back into the story and fixed a bit of proof reading errors and I touched on some of the issues with dialogue that Macho Madness brought up. Overall the story is the same but some of the character interactions are a bit different if you want to check it out. Also, for some reason, and only Macho seemed to notice, the indentation is really weird and for some reason I can't fix.

"What happens when you change so much that you don't recognize yourself? What happens when you push everypony away to fit in, even going so far as to shatter your own heart in the process? What do you do to fix everything while you still can?"

Over the years Spike and the rest of the Elements of Harmony have seen a dramatic change with Rarity, even going so far as to degrade the quality, the uniqueness of her dresses. Only after confronted by Twilight and breaking Spike's heart does she finally see what has become of herself. Determined to fix it though, she sets out across the land of Equestria to try and rediscover who she is.

A massage is just a massage, isn’t it? Apparently not when Spike is involved. Somehow finding a book on pony massage specifically for handed creatures like himself is fated to end the way that most of his adventures do: with the untimely destruction of Ponyville.

Shining Armor and his daughter Princess Flurry Heart visited Ponyville. At the last minute, Shining Armor realized that he promised to show up at Rarity's fundraiser, his daughter's restaurant's grand opening party, and visit his old friends, all at the exact same time of day. To avoid letting anypony down, Shining Armor uses the Mirror Pool to create clones, then gives them a copy of most of his memories.

While Princess Twilight Sparkle's away dealing with a bigger friendship emergency, Princess Flurry Heart must send the clones that her dad created back to the Mirror Pool before they rebel or make more clones.

Flurry Heart's cursed by several problems: The clones insist they're the real ones. Prince Shining Armor gave his scions a copy of most of his memories. Many of her plans don't work. The clones have the same magic, special talents, instincts, and most of his knowledge, and guess or cheat when they don't know things. Her magic naturally isn't as strong as any Shining Armor's, and even a simple barrier would stop her spells.

This dark, comedic story is set around the end of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, in a universe where Shining Armor is a Terrible Dad of Princess Flurry Heart. Shining Armor and a few other characters have different flaws including, but not limited to, impulsiveness, obliviousness, forgetfulness, stupidity, recklessness, selfishness, indifference, and poor communication skills.

Rarity receives an invitation to Equestria’s most exclusive and secretive social club. The only catch is, she can only attend if she brings her lawfully wedded spouse. Fortunately, there’s a certain purple dragon who’s willing to help her overcome this little difficulty. It’s a simple, foolproof plan: get married, attend the club, and then get an annulment. Nothing is ever that simple, however… not their weekend, not their friendship, and certainly not their marriage.
