Party Favor travels to Appleloosa in search of work. He leaves with something he didn't expect to find.

While exploring a ruined castle somewhere in the Everfree Forest, Party Favor was attacked by a ferocious beast. Even though he manages to fight back, he starts growing more fur and behaving like a dog.

Will his friends help him find a cure?

Studious dreamwalker Luna is not a very big fan of local class clown Party Favor. She always viewed him as an airhead who disrupted class and never took things seriously. She'd rather progress in her magical studies and expand her talent than have anything to do with his frivolous nonsense.

Still, one night, she ends up learning more about him than she expected.

Hearth's Warming is considered the most wonderful time of the year. It's especially true in Our Town, where the holidays promise an opening of a new ski resort and a plethora of family reunions. Everypony is anxious to rebuild old relationships and show them their home, and spend the snowy days in the comfort of their homes and the warmth of family love.

With the exception of Sugar Belle, who doesn't want anything to do with her father.

When Party Favor realizes that Sugar Belle would be lonely on Hearth's Warming, he, Double Diamond, and Night Glider conspire to have their friend be a part of each of their families for a short time, so that she would have somepony to celebrate with.

Still, with Party Favor still having tensions with his own father, Night Glider clashing with her sister, and Double Diamond trying to make sure the opening goes smoothly while simultaneously keeping his siblings under control, Sugar Belle is not sure that plan would go smoothly.

He was at the head of a mighty host, sergeant in a great army of the voiceless 200 strong and growing. As they marched from Our Town in the northeast down towards the capitol, their numbers swelled, seeming to double with every three towns they passed through. The air in their camps was electric, brimming with promise, with hope, the hope that the revolution might succeed. All was going so well, he couldn't help but grin.

But it was still his fake grin, the one he wore to try to cover up the screams whirling around inside him. And as they settle down for the evening, preparing for the last leg of the journey, he desperately tries to stop them from escaping, from giving voice to his hidden fears.

But in the darkness of the night, however much of a sergeant he might be in the daytime, Party Favor is still the boy who cried himself to bed with laughter, and the fears he tried to leave behind are not done with him yet.

Party Favor confessed his feelings to Double Diamond, who returned them. Neither stallion knows where to go from there but they're trying nonetheless. The only problem is that they don't know what to do about Night Glider. The female pegasus has a serious problem regarding Sugar Belle. Obsession can't be healthy for a relationship, can it?

Party Favor has a problem.

Despite coming from a family of mages and magicians, he has difficulty using magic. Scratch that, his horn doesn't even work. In fact, for all the nothing that his horn does, he might as well be an earth pony. And that easily makes him the laughingstock of the other unicorns, including his brother.

But perhaps his talents lie not with magic, but with something else entirely.

Inspired by a random observation while watching "The Cutie Map".

Starlight Glimmer is filled with guilt for all the things she did at her old town. She also is wondering why Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship, is giving her a second chance after all the misery Starlight caused. Twilight and Starlight take the train right after Starlight becomes Twilight's apprentice of friendship.

This takes place during the song, Friends Are Always There For You, in the last episode of Season 5. There is a brief scene where Starlight returns with Twilight to the town Starlight had left at the beginning of the season. I know Starlight returns later in a different episode, but I wanted to write a short little story showing what Starlight might be thinking after her whole ordeal.
