I do enjoy a good book, from time to time. So long as it is a book of my choice, even if another Pony suggested it.

They said I like Humans, that I am an Anthropologist who desired to be a Human. Maybe it is true, to a point. At least it is fun in literature.

I had ended up in the new library in Ponyville, where Twilight Sparkle found me and suggested a book for me to read.

Fluttershy has a panic attack. In 7 days, she'll save the world.

With Angel's help, of course.

When Twilight comes stumbling back home with a hangover and no memory of the previous day, Spike discovers that he's suddenly alone in knowing about the mystery of removable wings. An off-handed comment by the worn-out unicorn prompts Spike into an investigation that will shed more light on the truth behind the conspiracy and raise even more questions.

Celestia sends Star Swirl the Bearded’s final, unfinished spell to Twilight as a final test before her ascension. Owlowiscious gets to it first.

There are many different kinds of immortality. Some achieve immortality through great deeds of heroism. Some do it by discovering a spell custom-made to kick Death in the teeth. There are a select few who are immortal simply because they consistently avoid dying.

But perhaps the rarest breed of immortal is the one who escapes death by dying so suddenly that they come back to life.

The phoenix is one such immortal, and Philomena is one such firebird. But for all the time that she spends in the company of alicorns, Philomena rarely thinks of herself as immortal or ageless. When one defines the passage of time by one's death, immortality can be a difficult label to wear.

But life has a way of reminding us of our labels. Sometimes it uses traumatic events. Sometimes it takes the form of a blessing nobody else can enjoy. And once in a very rare while, life makes us fall in love with somebody we can never stay with.

An unseen thief snuck into Ponyville in order to steal the horns off of all the unicorns, disabling their magic. Twilight must capture the thief before her own horn is stolen too, but how can she catch a thief who is practically invisible?

Twilight Sparkle considers her owly assistant, Owlowicious, an invaluable helper and a wonderful friend.

But what if he's more than he initially seems?

The history books tell many tales of the great Star Swirl the Bearded, one of Equestria's most famous and talented unicorn wizards. But suspiciously, they are quiet on what ultimately became of the skillful stallion. Is there anypony who might know his ultimate fate?

Just one, and he says, "Hoo!"

In Equestria's distant past, before Celestia and Luna ruled, a magical experiment will be performed that will forever change the fate of Star Swirl the Bearded and help create the one and only Owlowicious we all know and love today.

This is their tale.
