Twilight recieves an invitation to temporarily substitute one of her old teachers in the Celestia's school for gifted unicorns. Starlight goes with her, curious of what her life could've been if she went there when she had a chance.
In there, Starlight learns that the true purpouse of said trip was not what it seemed...

Stargazer loves his stars! He loves watching them, singing to them, and wishing them goodnight. Of all the stars, though, there is one he loves the most. When his mother finds out something interesting is going to happen to his favorite star, she takes him to see what the surprise is!

When loud roars are heard from the Everfree Forest, most ponies are terrified as to what could be making them. But when Apple Bloom and her friends decide to see who or what it is, their discovery will introduce everyone to a world they didn't know existed.

Lyra always knew there was something more out there. She learned in her youth, when she became the victim of a bloodsucking horror that kept her enthralled to his twisted will, feeding on the blood of others to sustain itself. Until Bonnie came, and set her free with fire and bullets. After agonizing withdrawal, Lyra's body healed. But her soul was another matter entirely.

Now she tries to live a normal life, passing the day to day as a music tutor. But horrors still stalk her nightmares, lurking in every shadowy Canterlot alley.

As time passes, something deep in Lyra rebells at this vision of her world, where mankind are desperate prey always fleeing from dark things. Something is calling to her, a vision of a better world. Once her soul wakes to magic, it will never sleep again.

Unless someone puts her in the dirt, of course. Someone like her monster-hunting girlfriend.

This story is a tribute to the World of Darkness. Knowledge of its setting and characters is not necessary to read this--its lead character will have to learn everything right along with readers. But for the curious, I'm using 1st Edition Mage the Awakening, Hunter the Vigil, Changeling the Lost, Vampire the Masquerade, and Werewolf the Forsaken. It's primarily a mage story, but will include elements of the other books where appropriate.

This story started with the simple premise of wondering what Twilight and her unicorn friends would look like as a cabal of mages. But given how long I've been writing and how old the fandom is now, centering a story on Twilight felt too predictable at this point. I wanted to use one of the background characters as viewpoint instead. Everything else grew from that premise--making the changelings into changelings, some earth ponies into werewolves, etc.

While going to meet her new niece in the Crystal Empire, Twilight Sparkle discovered King Sombra's horn and nearly recovered essence in his study beneath the castle. Still weakened, he was captured and transported to the Canterlot dungeons.

Seeing an opportunity, Princess Celestia enlisted Twilight (the one who outwitted his traps and then discovered him) and Fluttershy (who reformed Discord) to try to bring out the good in Sombra.

However, just as they seem to be making some progress, things take a turn for the strange, as four ponies they had never seen before began fighting in the streets with Dark Magic. Four ponies with unusual coloring, yet who seem oddly familiar...

A young pegasus wakes up alone in a field with no clue as to how she arrived in Equestria.
She was human once - she thinks - but her memory is tattered and unreliable, only coming to her in sharp, burning flashes. She can't even remember her name, and now she has to piece together the events that led her across time and space, if she ever hopes to return home.

Meanwhile, deep underground in the tunnels below Canterlot, the Star Bright Network crafts a plan to break the barrier of reality, and they think they've located the last missing piece of the puzzle.

In between it all, the Doctor and his bubbly companion investigate the strange energy that has been flowing out of Equestria's capital city. Something big is on its way, and their universe will crumble unless they can stop it in time.

After building so much trust for her, his apprentice takes the potion he is meant to guard. Though she does not realize how much of a curse the potion is to those who are foolish enough to take it, the main issue is that his heart is broken. Not simply in the metaphorical sense, but also in the "blasted out" kind of way. Forgiveness does not seem like an option, but revenge may also be quite hard to accomplish.

Real:
So...I have never written a story. And I rarely dream, which may be from the fact that I think so much before I fall asleep. A few nights ago, I just wanted to sleep, so I couldn't really think of anything before dozing off. Aaanyways, I dreamt this up, but decided to just go write it down, I hope it doesn't suck too much. And it likely will just stay as a single page.

My name is Daniel Brooks. I don't know how, but I've been sent to another world. A... uh, "magical pony filled" world where humanity isn't appreciated for some reason. I haven't seen another human, so I can only imagine those who were transported here before me have all been hunted down, probably locked away in a dungeon from what I can tell. That's bad, but wait, it gets worse.

I've been turned into one of them; a pegasus with a strange motif on my flank. Now I'm stuck in this town called Ponyville with no friends, no family, no job and no home. Just my luck...

Like I said earlier, these ponies don't seem to like humans, especially those that have transformed into ponies. They despise us, constantly trying to figure out who is secretly human and who isn't. It's not easy hiding what you truly are, let me tell you! I do one stupid things and all eyes will be on me!

At least, there's somebody else in this town who shares my plight. He's been stuck there for weeks, trying to find a way home. He'll teach me all about blending in. By working together, we can avoid suspicion and get back home.

I just hope I won't be there for long...
