With Maud settling down in Ponyville, Marble studying in the Crystal Empire, and her parents finally deciding to retire, Pinkie Pie wonders if Limestone is going to be okay running the Pie Family Farm all by herself. She's never done well on her own, and her cold demeanor probably isn't going to get her a boyfriend anytime soon.

Luckily, she knows an equally lonely human who is perfect for the job!

Cadance journeys out to the Pie family farm to get a lesson in earth pony magic.

Maud Pie's not like most ponies. That's okay. She has a wonderful Ma and Pa, a sister coarser than sandstone but who still gets her, and she has rocks. Rocks make sense, unlike ponies. Rocks always tell you everything about them from the outside.

This unicorn filly is the opposite of making sense. She's dirty and hungry. She prefers to talk about Maud over herself, something nopony else does around Maud for long. And despite her age, she doesn't have a cutie mark.

Still, Maud's not one to look some gift quartz in the mouth. Maybe this stranger can help her. Herself too, for Maud's idea involves rocks. And rocks always cheer Maud up.

The Pies are actually very sweet ponies once you get to know them, and Limestone Pie is no exception. Unfortunately, the Apples didn't have a chance to really get to know Limestone. So as the early Hearth's Warming party winds down, she decides to rectify that by showing Applejack her less-abrasive side.

My mini-epilogue to the episode Hearthbreakers.

While visiting the Rock Farm, Anonymous chats up Limestone Pie. One thing led to another, and the next minute, he surprises her with a belly rub.

There's just one problem though: If he stops, she'll kill him.

Due to a slight misunderstanding involving Pinkie Pie, Sunset Shimmer finds herself on the receiving end of Limestone Pie's sisterly wrath. Because of this, she ends up suffering through the most stressful first week of school since her days at Celestia's school for gifted unicorns.

Limestone Pie is a mare. Her parents are convinced this is the truth. But she isn't. She keeps her mane cropped. She hardly wears any makeup when going out. She hides her female parts, even at night, when she's alone in bed. She's convinced that this is wrong. But she does it anyway. What will it take for her to realize it's perfectly okay?
