I suppose this makes me insane.

Once a year, there's one particular night Discord loves more than any holiday. So much so he once tried to repeat the day over and over again until Princess Twilight stopped him.

That holiday is Nightmare Night.

Every year, Discord has made a tradition where he'll pile up candy from various universes and give it away to the many fillies and colts that come near. It has become the highlight for Nightmare Night at Ponyville since then. If only his wife, Fluttershy, would for once join him.

Thanks to a combination of magic and science Twilight has made it so you can mail a strand of hair to the school of magic and they'll send you a list of people you're related to. When Pinkie gets her results back she's surprised to discover Tempest is her fifth cousin. Naturally she's excited to bring lil' cheese to meet his distant cousin. Luckily she's at the convention this Saturday. Knowing Fluttershy was planning to go Pinkie invites herself along, but finding Tempest is going to be harder than she thought...

The Cake Twins have always wanted to do something special for their Auntie Pinkie Pie, especially since they know she was their foalsitter when they were younger. But they've never been able to find a way to thank her properly.

Fortunately, an opportunity gets almost literally dropped into their hooves when they're pressed into emergency foalsitting service for Pinkie Pie's foal: Lil' Cheese. Pinkie desperately needs a break and nopony else is available.

The twins thus agree to look after the little colt. But Lil' Cheese is going to give his new foalsitters more than a few headaches before all's said and done. Will the twins be able to keep up with him? Or will Lil' Cheese drive them as crazy as they once drove their Auntie Pinkie Pie?

Lil' Cheese lost his Mommy, and he will stop at nothing to find her - unfortunately for Pudding, the hostage negotiator in charge of untangling this mess.

This is a sequel to Snow Quill's story The Definition of Insanity, written (with her blessing) as part of a 'shitty sequel' event some friends ran. It's intended to subvert the spirit of the original and generally shit all over it, in a funny way. You can read this story without reading Snow's, but if you'd like to read something beautiful and sad, and then something that disrespects that entirely, you should read them both.

Pinkie and Cheese's daughter, Li'l Cheese couldn't be more ecstatic, she had finally received her cutie mark! Of course, being born into a family of super duper party ponies, this calls for some sort of celebration. However, things don't always go according to plan.

If everyone could see themselves as L'il Cheese saw them, the world would be a much brighter place.

Lil' Cheese doesn't normally get to go with his parents on trips, so whenever he does he knows it's a special occasion. And nothing could be more special than a trip to Ponypalooza to visit the rock farm his mom was born on.

The trip also means Lil' Cheese will get a chance to see his grandparents, as well as two of his all time favorite aunts in the form of Limestone and Marble. And neither of them have seen the kid in years.

Such a reunion sounds exciting. But even Lil' Cheese can't possibly imagine what's in store for him at said reunion, especially with two ponies he hasn't even considered being there.

Princess Celestia has retired. Her reign is over, and her stewardship of Equestria is at an end. But that doesn't mean that her little ponies have stopped needing her. Her time as supreme political puppet master has given her a unique set of skills; networking, guiding, mentoring, and of course a little bit of manipulation. So she opens up a new business: Auntie Tia's Matchmaking Service!

Ponies come from far and wide to tell Auntie Tia their romantic woes and ask for her help, and she never turns away a pony in need. But her new clients are among the toughest she has ever faced - have Celestia's matchmaking abilities met their match?
