Rarity is continuing on trying not to think of her sister, Sweetie Belle. She remains completely unaware her sister is fighting a war undeneath her hooves. For another member of the Crusaders, Scootaloo the coming forces of darkness are going to force her to reveal the truth about herself.

Sombra has been defeated yet again. Death has never put a crimp in his plans for total conquest though. However, this time he has been brought back not by a pony or a meddling Draconequus, but by a Dragon. A Dragon who had been planning to have his horn for dinner. Sombra finds to his horror that not only is he powerless, he is stuck alone with this cute aggravating Dragon for around 3 months. What will happen in that time?

A Sombra/Fizzle fic for the Crackship Contest: 2022. Takes place after Sombra's defeat in Season 9, but before Future Twilight at the very end of the season. AU, since it diverges from the canon ending.

Inspiration

Sweetie Belle's life always contained a fair amount of frustration. From a lack of magical ability to her flank's stubborn refusal to develop a cutie mark, Sweetie has many a reason to envy her classmates. But her friends share many of those problems, making them somewhat bearable.

But at a certain fateful wedding, the changelings seem less interested in putting her in a pod, and more interested in attacking her outright. More evidence starts to appear, and she starts to realize something about herself that she would much rather forget.

While this story contains several adventure-like stories, especially in the beginning, it will mostly focus on slice-of-life material.

A new god, worlds-between-worlds, and tons of sass from a certain somepony are only a few things that have made Luna's life all the more interesting. Now, she finds that every day is more of an adventure than it used to be with somepony worthy of sharing it with.

Her relationship may be nothing but a disaster waiting to happen in the eyes of nearly everypony in Equestria, but Luna and her special somepony know otherwise.

Soon after a rigorous fight against the evil corruption in their minds, Luna, Twilight, and Celestia, soon fall to the corruption, releasing their alter evils from their shackles. Turning them into Day Breaker, Midnight Twilight, and Nightmare Moon.

The fair ponies of Equestria, and Twilights' friends, are imprisoned and Equestrias in flames, yet not all hope is lost.

So sung the ancient Saddle Arabian bards of their nations most dangerous enemy. Queen Rabia of the Dark Pony Empire. Ever did she match wits and force with their old kings until her surprising demise, leaving her daughter Ira on the throne. Then the ancient Saddle Arabians finally invaded, destroyed their ancient enemies and executed the Last Queen. But Rabia had another child, the mysterious Lost Son who disappeared from her court before these events.

King Sombra, former tyrant of the Crystal Empire, the Shadow King. Lost Son of Queen Rabia. Exiled in his first defeat, killed in the second, fled into hiding in the third and finally captured the fourth time and sent to Tartarus. He would probably be rotting there along with Lord Tirek if there wasn't just one problem.

In his fourth defeat, his mother Queen Rabia unexpectedly returned. Promising the destruction of modern Saddle Arabia for what their ancestors did. The Saddle Arabians call the destruction of the Dark Pony Empire and the execution of the Last Queen their Great Shame, but the Queen of Rage and Wrath does not care.

For the destruction of her empire, they will face the Rage of a Queen.

For the execution of her daughter, they will face the Wrath of a Mother.

Saddle Arabia's hope may lie in the absolute unlikeliest source. The Tyrant of Fear and Hate. Who doesn't particularly like them much either.
