Twilight is still fresh from her coronation as sole Princess of Harmony. The junior Anarch of Chaos is even more clueless than she is. Together, they wrangle the responsibilities of their predecessors.

Screwball is hooves down the hardest horsey harlequin I've put pen to paper and picked to portray. Hopefully her dithering dialogue sounds suitably strange while still somewhat sensible, since her speech sits saddled with an awkwardly articulated alliteration affinity and a readiness for randomly recursive restless rambling.

This is an entry in the Snippet Series, an anthology of old oneshots I (and my good buddy Str8aura) wrote based around interesting pics I found. New ones will be posted every Thursday for the foreseeable future.

Discord grows tired of Twilight and friends not getting that chaos magic is unlike theirs. So he then decides 'What if they were to see it for themselves'... And that was how Equestria was unmade.

Part one of the chaos trilogy

This story takes place after the events of the episode "Keep calm and flutter on."

After Discord's reformation, he decides to have a bet with Princess Celestia. Wanting to see her chaotic side, a bet was made between the two. For one whole week, Celestia will agree to become a draconequus, to see if she can control the powers of chaos itself. Celestia agrees on the condition that should she win, she gets to transform Discord into whatever she wants for a week in turn. However, Celestia has many secret desires and it doesn't take long for her to start abusing her new chaotic magic...

Their anger quickly turns to shock as a familiar unicorn emerges... and boy does she have a story to tell.

Discord and Spike got back from their vacation in the crystal dimension, eager to see if they won the contest... Only to find Equestria as well as the world enveloped in chaos so thick you could cut it with a knife and spread it over toast.

The chaotic pollution threatens to spread everywhere and Spike and Discord need to unite their power to locate new bearers and fix this mess before it becomes irreversible.

But a certain voice will do everything in their power to stop them from freeing the six.
