The Hearth's Warming story is timeless in Equestria. Every year, the traditions are done and reminders of what hate brings are given and taken. While the story of the first Hearth's Warming is told to every filly and colt in the bright and colorful manner of a stage-play, there is a lot more that isn't said. Before Hearth's Warming, the three tribes had hate between them, but also a reluctant tolerance as they relied on each other to survive. Once the blizzard of the Wendigos began, they blamed each other. This lead to a Great War over racist accusations. This is the story of that war, and the story of one pony in particular that tried to fight for the right thing. The story about his struggles to create peace in a desolate, frozen landscape. This is a story about a War Pony.

The epic story detailing how thousands of years ago Starswirl the Bearded defeated the Sirens and banished them from Equestria, how they were exiled to the Mediterranean island of Capri, and what happened next.

“You will come to the Sirens first of all; they bewitch any mortal who approaches them. If a man in ignorance draws too close and catches their music, his wife and children will never welcome him home again; the high clear tones of the Sirens will bewitch him … you must stop the ears of all your crew with sweet wax that you have kneaded, so that none of the rest may hear the song.”
Homer

Before the Windigos arrived in Equestria, three tribes were starving for food. There was no friendship between the separate pony species, and things are only growing worse.

This story follows Cobalt, a young unicorn prince who was brought up to be selfish and cruel towards all other pony species. His life changes when he meets Dahlia, a lowly earth pony mare, and forms a tentative friendship. When his father declares war on the earth ponies and his new friend's life is at risk, will Cobalt be able to blindly turn away and stay loyal to his family and home? Or will he betray them for the mare who wants nothing to do with him?

Taking place prior to the backstory told within Hearth's Warming Eve, this story tells the tale of just how badly the relationship between the three tribes was before the Windigos arrived in Equestria.

Equestria, it is said, was not made in a day. It was made through hardships, through struggle, and through the coming together of peoples who had never seen each other as anything more than enemies. But now ponykind is united, and their leaders have come together to try and guide them all in this new era of unity.

From high mountain keep to deep ocean deep, learn the wisdom from the ponies of the multiverse.

This collection of short stories was originally part of my other story Three Bickering Bugs Conquer Equestria before I moved them here. They are all inspired by folk stories I read as a child.

Updates every Sunday with a new short story. Some of these universes will be explored in more depth in their own fictions.

The war between pegasi and earth ponies has raged for eight long years. Five years ago, the pegasi invented a powerful tactic which changed the course of warfare forever--they learned how to manipulate the weather. With the power of nature against them, the earth ponies seemed doomed to fail. That is, until a pegasus meteorology agent is captured on a routine mission. Rather than kill her, one earth pony captain comes up with a novel idea all his own--convert her into a double agent. Perhaps the war can yet be won.

This takes place several years before the foundation of Equestria.

This story in no way supports slavery or the removal of homosexual rights. This story is supposed to show the beginnings of a country and how the decisions of this Congress shape Equestrian history.

The Congress in this story is based on the United States First Continental Congress which helped shape America just like the Equestrian Congress did.

Three tales to append to the Hearth’s Warming Eve story telling of the further adventures of Commander Hurricane, Chancellor Puddinghead, and Princess Platinum; concerning politics, art, sport, and sticky puddings. The early days of Equestria involved some quarrelling and compromises as the three pony tribes learnt to work together and accept each others’ differences. But mostly, it was about having fun together.
