Love comes in many forms. There's the love for friends, love for family, love for romantic partners, that unconditional love that leaders have for their nations, and of course loved personal artifacts. Changelings feed off love, and while they prefer the love of romantic partners, any love will do in a pinch. And hey, they might just find love themselves sometimes.

In order to prove to Vinyl, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Octavia that the TARDIS can actually travel in time, the Doctor and Derpy travel with them twenty years into Ponyville's past. They first stop at SugarCube corner to find nefarious creatures lurking in the basement, waiting to strike. The first in a series of DerpDoctor, PinkieDash, and VinylTavia adventures through time and space as we enter the strange new world of Doctor Whooves and his entourage.

A simple word meaning to be sent away as a form of punishment...
"You have been proven guilty,"
But I haven't done anything wrong, have I? Anything to deserve to be punished? Being framed? Is that a crime?
"You are banished from Equestria,"
Why would they all just give up on me? I know the truth, but they refuse to hear it. Why won't they just listen?
"You are required to leave at once."
Just listen.

About 3 million years ago Equestria and the surrounding islands were located in the North Pacific Ocean on Earth. Now Equestria at the time had the highest consternation of magic which cause many of the species living there to develop sentience but humans were not among them when Discord put Equestria and the surrounding islands in a pocket dimension to "play with his toys". The barrier of this dimension caused anyone or anything inside to forget the outside world. Discord did this because his magical nature could not effect the outside world completely and he didn't want his toys hiding from him.
Now fast forward 3 million years, the world is a very different place as humans have spread across the planet bringing with them very faint traces of magic. This magic has allowed humans to catch glimpses of Equestria through dreams and has caused the barrier to weaken to the point of collapse as the Earth wants to reconnect with its missing piece. Discord having sense the change in the barrier but having forgotten about it sees this as opportunity to have little fun, sits back to watch the chaos unfold. How would Humanity react? Is Equestria ready for such a change? And will there ever be peace after this?

Where has Scootaloo been before Ponyville? Where are her parents? Why can’t she grasp the technique of pegasus flying? Why is she so excited about the breezie migration?

But the present that Discord brings home is probably the last thing that can stop the evil known as the krawl. Can this new being known as a Spectrobe save Equestria, or will the Krawl destroy the world.

Learning how to fly had been the start of Tawny's life: a real one, not the shoebox-sized concrete cage her captor had neatly shoved her into as a filly. But the shoebox had been familiar, if claustrophobic, and safe—a known quantity of hoofsteps and ceiling cracks, unlike the outside world of Equestria.

Learning how to live was proving to be infinitely more complicated.
