On a rainy night, a particularly pink pony reads a seemingly cursed book and ends up evoking the wrath of a morbidly fat owl. There's also the other talking animals, questions about logic and suns but of course her involvement will change the course of the plot to something a little weirder.

That was what Starlight Glimmer had sought when she set up her community, a place where all ponies would be equal in everything they had or did. No fighting, no competition, no cutie marks: it would be the perfect symbol of Equality by which the rest of Equestria would rally behind.

But one stormy night, a mysterious mare arrives to question Starlight about her beliefs, doubting whether Equality is truly what Ponykind needs. Surely such notions are those of an older time, and Equality is a future that Starlight can defend.

In a very, but not really, alternate universe far far away, or maybe not.

A mare, an alicorn mare at that, has happened to climb onto a rock to pout about her bad attitude and short temper, and hurtful words, and reluctance to stop her friends from walking past her while she watched them pass for more than enough time to at least speak to one of them or call an apology out.

She, by sheer chance that universes upon universes couldn’t come across, she pouted and whined to her pet dragon when the bars of a cage landed around her, because somehow, in the greatest of oopsies, she nor her friends happened to notice a gigantic black themed airship hovering overhead. The ship that contrasted against everything in sight but was somehow invisible to pony and dragon vision now hauled her from the metal plate, on a boulder by the sea she sat on and didn’t notice, covered by a metal cage, up into its somehow unnoticed, until now, ship brig.

Because a these are common things that happen in a movie story such as this.

This story takes place between S3 E13 “Magical Mystery Cure” and S4 E25 “Twilight’s Kingdom”.

Sink holes have been appearing around the Everfree Forest and even as close as the outskirts of Ponyville, so the Royal Sisters know that it is time to strike a treaty with the Diamond Dogs before their tunneling causes houses to disappear into the ground.

While they’re away, they have to deputise two ponies to run Equestria on their behalf and the only two with sufficient magic are Twilight and Nyx.

How will Nyx react?

Is she ready for such power again?

I Twilight Sparkle discovered an ancient book speaking of the dream realm which has, apparently been long lost. I will pursue this like any other good curiosity. There was something the book has not spoke of. I think it is the cause of the end of the realm's regular access. I have a bad feeling about this, but this is a venture I will not deny.

After a chance encounter with a bat species she's never seen before, Fluttershy gets bitten, and strange things start to happen. All normal food tastes foul to her, and instead, she thirsts for blood. As she slowly becomes more animalistic, her instincts heighten, and suddenly the feelings towards Rainbow Dash she'd been suppressing slowly begin to manifest. After a failed attempt to seduce her in order to feed, Rainbow Dash becomes committed to helping Fluttershy get well again while keeping her friend's dark affliction a secret.
