Long ago, the goddess Harmony created seven artifacts, made to combat the darkness that threatened her world. These Elements represented the most powerful positive feelings she and her ponies could muster. But lately, the Elements of Harmony were separated from their chosen Bearers, and darkness once more threatens the balance of Equestria.

But like any good goddess, Harmony has a backup plan.

(This story takes place in the same continuity and at the same time frame as New Family, and is intended as a companion story to that one. Either can be read without the other, but reading both will give you a few hints of a bigger picture.)

For years Night Light and Twilight Velvet had had separate interests that put a strain on their marriage. He put up with her trysts with Celestia and Luna but when he learns it isn't just them and she leaves a note saying she is moving in with the princesses, he decides the time has come to divorce her and make her pay for the anguish she has caused him.

Discord and Fluttershy are having tea in her cottage, as they often do. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming and the sweet aroma of tea is filling the room. For both of them, these are treasured moments that they get to spend together. And it is a habit they shall continue through years and years. But what happens when time starts catching up to them? For how long can these moments of peace last?

The Rainbooms were equally surprised to find a group of talking animals during one of their hangouts. With the Magic users curious, they decide to aid Team Sonic for as long as they're there.

But of course, things couldn't be easy. With robots, magic beings, and foes old and new as well as balancing a normal life on top of the chaos that goes with it, perhaps some peace and quiet will do.
