So apparently the most recent "mistake" I've made was in publishing Sunset: Stranded for people to read, rather than learning what I intended to from it, finishing it, and simply moving on.

So today I uploaded the last chapter. There are only three left. One for Wednesday, one for Thursday, and then the final chapter for Friday.

This has been an interesting one to watch the reactions to. Very few, if any, of my normal readers are following it. It's the first story I've had not make the update portion of the featurebox in ... ever, really. Not since my first fic. Which again, kind of confirms what I'd already known about it being a bit of a swing and a miss.

Okay, so I jest a bit with that question mark. Personally, while I was glad to finish the story, glad to write it, and glad to test out some new things, I still think the story was a bit of a dud. But ... that doesn't mean there isn't plenty of gold among the dross. There just is dross, and a solid amount of it, in my opinion.
