Quick update to anyone reading this, fic's not dead, not even a little, I'm just really slow at writing and got a little stuck on how I wanted the next part to go.
Getting stuck made me think about stuff down the line and lead to a rewrite of a large chunk of my story plans because the main antagonist for like the next 3 planed stories was way too powerful to be combatable without the MC becoming powerful to a silly degree as well.

Okay, so, I have altered a few lines of the conversation between the Queen and Scarab in CH6 in an attempt to make it flow a bit better and to get across the intended message more clearly.

If you have already read the chapter then you don't really need to reread it unless you want to see the small edit but nothing huge has changed, the Queen is just a little less extreme in her apology than before, still sorry but also making sure Scarab gets what she was saying.

Just letting you know I won't be able to get back to writing till the week after new years, a friend has invited me to spend new years at their place so I won't have my pc till I get back, I'll be at their place from today till probably this time next week.
