I was sick all last week with a non-Covid upper respiratory infection that made it damn near impossible to focus. What focus I did have went to going over the proofs for the CSP print edition and sending off corrections.

Idea for a chapter of "Friendship is Deceptive":

By the time of "A Friend in Deed", every Decepticon is on Pinkie Pie's list as a friend, without exception.

How?

Wednesdays will be F1 My Team Career Mode nights.

Other days, beginning today, will be a rotation of Kerbal Space Program (Super Hard Mode or otherwise), Sam and Max Hit the Road (until it runs out), and American Truck Simulator.

There may also be Minecraft breaks if I'm feeling ill or worn out.

Exercises sometimes at 9 AM (depending on my schedule) and livewriting at 5 PM, the games listed above at 7 PM Central, through February 7 or so.

So I'm really blocked on some ideas for Friendship is Deceptive, which is about the ten core Decepticon warriors from the first wave of G1 Transformers becoming background ponies, one chapter corresponding to one episode.

And then I thought: maybe other writers would like a go?

So here's the thing: if other writers, with a minimum competence level, want to take a swing at putting Deceptiponies in the background of S1 episodes, I'll post those chapters here with accreditation.

I now have three chapters written for Friendship is Deceptive. One I think is all right; two others need work.

(Two of the three are Megatron and Starscream match-ups, including the good one.)

I'll be doing a serious rewrite pass on all three chapters tomorrow; hopefully all three post tomorrow night.
