I'm dealing with a runny nose that won't stop and a very sore leg that I'm not even sure how I managed to get extremely bruised. This aren't major things, but they're enough to make it hard for me to focus on writing. I have about 2000 words of the chapter written, but where I'm at is no workable stopping point. Sorry for the delay.

This is open to change, but I counted out the remaining chapters for Quantum Leap Forward today, and I am guessing there are about ten more chapters-- based on what I want to cover without getting off track with side plots. This total might go up or down one or two, depending on how things flow, but it is pretty safe to assume that two thirds of the story is done.

I apologize I haven't gotten the next chapter update out. I've been writing, and rewriting over and over again the first half of the next chapter, and think I finally have it to where I'm happy with it. The first half of the next chapter might well turn into the lead in to a spinoff story. If there is interest in it.

Now that I'm satisfied with how the begining goes, I can quickly finish the remainder of the chapter, and should have it posted tomorrow.

Anyone familiar with my writing knows I develop backstories for everyone and everything in the story. Sometimes it feels right including this content in the actual story, sometimes it just doesn't fit, and sometimes I push things in anyway. Intended on getting it out sooner, but been really busy and falling asleep early each night. I also decided last minute that I wanted to wait to do the scene I originally planned for one more chapter. My editors just got the chapter from me, but they are fairly quick. So, expect chapter 5 to arrive sometime early tomorrow morning.
