More beautiful artwork by the absolutely amazing Irina. Go check out her work, as she has done some really sterling stuff for me, some of which I have yet to make public but I promise it will be coming soon!

As some of you may know, I made a blog some time ago about how I had put the entirety of my Sunflower cycle into print format and put it on Lulu. My next formatting project is going to be doing the same thing, only with Dead by Sunset!
Alright, y'all, I've literally been talking about this crap for a year but I'm finally launching my Patreon. There are a few reasons for this, but one of the biggest is that, frankly, I really do want to be a writer. I want to write for all of you, every single one of you, who has support me since I first started posting here. You all seem to be fans of my work and want to see more of it, well, I want you all to see it. But at the same time,
With the completion of After Sunset, I've pretty much wrapped up my 'interquel' stories in the Dead by Sunset canon and of course that means we're actually doing it folx. We're getting to the real thing.
Dead by Midnight.
I commissioned an image of Killer!Sunset's form as Nightmare Sunset.
Credit for the art goes to Irina. Show her some love!
It's done guys. It's still not the cleanest work in the world, but it's far and away closer to my current standard. I've tidied up whole swathes of the paragraph structure, added a few bits, tweaked a few things to keep the canon consistent, but I haven't changed anything to the story itself.
The biggest change was to the third Interlude. I wanted to give the CMC a little more screen time.
Per usual with my rather sporadic focus, in that I am always writing but you can never quite tell what I'll actually be writing about, I'm giving notice that I'm focusing all of my efforts on a single project at the moment. That doesn't mean I'm 'abandoning' any of my other incomplete stories. Obviously, I just picked up King & Shy again after 2+ years so I'm not planning on giving anything up, but granted that I'm writing for fun, I follow where my muse leads and she is
The Group is officially made, if you want an invite please comment below!
I've sent a few out that I know already.
I’ve put up a new story!
The Crazy Girl gives some insight into a character that honestly I kind of regret not exploring a little more in Dead by Sunset.
Starlight Glimmer!
Hope you guys enjoy it!
Cheers,
I-A-M
P.S. how would you all feel about me making a Dead by Sunset group? Just a place to collect everything, and potentially if anyone wants to write anything in the ‘verse i can have a folder for recursive stuff?
I'm dropping a new story in the Dead by Sunset continuity as a buildup to Dead by Midnight to prove that I'm really committed to this. Hope you all enjoy a little weird romance, and let me know what you think.
Lately, I've been going back and running a few edits over Dead by Sunset. Returning to it now I can't help but cringe a little bit at how bad my writing was when I was writing it.
It's finally done, almost a half a year of constant updates and we're finally here. The end of the adventures of Sunset Shimmer in the Trial Realms of the Entity.
But are we done?
I'll be honest, I definitely have a sequel story in mind and I'm sure the name I spoiled gives you all an idea as to what it entails.
Just a reminder that this week's Saturday post will be Sonata's backstory and how she came to identify as the Nurse, it will be posted as a separate story called Sisterhood Sonata. I most likely won't be posting a chapter of Dead by Sunset since this took me a while to hash out, so the next Chapter of Dead by Sunset will be coming out next Saturday.
I have decided to post Adagio's story as it's own standalone tale, mainly because it very strongly stands by itself and no actual knowledge of Dead by Sunset is really needed to enjoy it. I will probably be posting an early chapter of Dead by Sunset in a day or two though, to make up for the lack of post on that story.
I've been considering posting Adagio's Lament as a separate story, in part because it is quite long, just barely under 10k words. It's length also means it doesn't slot quite as gracefully as I would like into the narrative of Dead by Sunset. That being said, it is a necessary piece to the narrative itself as you will all see.
I've been asked quite a few times why I decided to make Tempest Shadow hispanic in my story 'Dead by Sunset' so I figure I'll just answer it here. One of the big reasons is because I, myself, am hispanic and her speech patterns mimic many of my relatives, a sort of pidgin spanglish mixture that rops between the two languages with ease.
