But I'm already working on the next one. I've got some inspiration (likely born out of the delirious joy of being so close to the end), so hopefully it'll be done sooner rather than later.

For those who may have feared I died or something, fear not! I still live, and the new chapter of Iron Mare is done!

It just needs a proofreader, and then I can post it.

Yeah, exactly what it says in the title.

I'm feeling I'm close to the end of the story as a whole, since I got the test flight out of the way, and I have the first proper mission followed by your standard smack down with villain.

Here's hoping.

Finally cracked my writer's block, with lots and lots and lots of help from Iowaforever and Fedorasarecool. Bless 'em.

I hit writer's block again.

You know what, I'm just going to take a break for a bit, watch a couple of episodes of FX's Fargo because I've been meaning too, and then just write the actual flight sequence, and then stitch it together with the introduction of TOM later.

At least that way I can accomplish something.

Yeah, if you've been wondering why the next Iron Mare chapter is taking so darn long, I had some serious writer's block.

So bad in fact that I just stopped writing all together, and took a three day break to fiddle around in windows movie maker, making soundtrack videos because I just couldn't figure out anything for the chapter.

Must have worked, since I have inspiration now, which means I can go and hopefully finish the chapter.

Yeah, I'm starting the next Iron Mare chapter today.

I first have to re-read the previous chapter, just so I'm up to date with what I mentioned/addressed in the chapter.

I certainly hope to get the suit up, running and a test flight by the end of the chapter, but obviously, I wouldn't ask you guys to bet your lives on that, knowing my notoriously protracted style of storytelling.

In the meantime, I'll be working on that X-Questrians chapter (at least the first half of it, since Phoenix is probably going to do a lot of it too...) and then move on to the next Spider-Colt chapter (because I'm on a roll with that one)

The new Iron Mare chapter is almost done.

Iowaforever, my co-writer, is doing a draft of a final scene, and then I'll spruce it up come the morning, and hopefully we'll get it published before the end of Monday.

So yeah, I was able to crack my writer's block with the help of Iowaforever and JZ1, who are both upstanding dudes.

Working on the chapter now, in my typically helter skelter, on-again-off-again manner.

But yeah, my gears are greased, and I'm slammin' to the jam.

I can't give a date to when the chapter will be up, but hopefully before the end of the week. Hopefully.

So yeah, I tried working on the Iron Mare chapter.

I didn't get far.

I only managed to get a nightmare sequence done, but I had no idea where to take the chapter after that nightmare. I mean, I figured that Rarity would have some nightmares due to her time in the cave, so it made sense that she'd have at least a MILD case of PTSD.

Okay, due to the unexpected failure of my air conditioning and the three day stay at my aunt's house, the Spider-Colt chapter, which would have probably been completed on Friday, is now most likely going to be ready on either Monday or Tuesday.
