At the end of October I made a calendar. On that calendar where deadlines of all the stuff I was writing.

Today was supposed to be the release of the second chapter of a brand new story. Obviously, that's not here.

I could keep saying that it's just because I do not have time. But that is not true. The truth is that I cannot stop playing games, watching TV, modding games, and simply procrastinating long enough to get the words that I need too out.

It's been six months since the last update!?

Yeah... It has. I don't know where the time has gone.

When I started writing Fallen Canterlot I told myself I would try for a new chapter every 2-3 weeks, and I was able to keep that going. But then I got a job. Now it's 2 years later and the story isn't even half way done.

I started off hoping that each chapter would be released every two weeks, and for a while I kept to that. But then I got a job. And then more life got in the way. So, in short, I'm so sorry that the updates have been very few and far between this year.

I am so sorry it's been so long without an update. The truth is, despite the fact that this is a chapter I've been wanting to write since the very start of my Fallen Canterlot, I've bee having a lot of trouble actually getting it done.

But fear not. I have been working on it every day since the start of the year and I will keep doing so until it's ready.

I’m so sorry for being silent over the last few months and for the awfully slow progress I have been making. But the truth is, I’ve just been so busy with work and other activates I struggle to find the time two write.

But don’t despair! I’m still writing and I still plan to act upon my promises. The first of which was the small rewrite of Fallen Canterlot chapter 1. I’m pleased to say that that has gone up just a few minutes ago.

If you've been following you may have noticed that I attempt to update once every two weeks. Sadly, due to real life for both myself and my editor, chapter 5 will most likely not be ready for this weekend.

I'm working hard on it and it will be out as soon as it is ready but I'd rather not release it before it has meet the standers I wish to keep after the editing disaster that was chapter 2.

After two months of planning and even longer of deciding upon what to write, my bad new story is finally out!

It feels so good to be writing again after such a long brake, and I hope it shows in the quality of the work I produce. Updates should be fairly frequent for the first few chapters, but I'll try to keep things going in the future for as long as I can.

And I make this promise, this story will one day reach it's end. I am never leaving another story cancelled ever again.
