Comparing Notes retrospective...sort of. · 12:49am Jun 19th, 2018
Wrapping up this story was a strange feeling. BlackWater and I had been working on it for almost a year. It launched June 27 of last year.

I have a lot of music.
12 days worth to be exact, according to my iTunes library.
So when a certain song and all it's iterations play back to back despite your player being set to shuffle, you don't ignore it.
Orange, the second ending theme from Your Lie in April is the song in question...while storyboarding Insurgence and planning an upcoming chapter of Comparing Notes with BW. You can find a video of the song at the end of this post.
I need two projects at a time to keep me busy, be they stories, story and readings (got to replace the sound board's power switch, easy fix), or story and streams.
So why do I mention this?
Well, I have two projects here and just started a new one over on Fanfiction.net because I've made my readers there wait for the Faerie Dance arc of SAO for almost two years. I finally tackled the problem of how to approach it and did a short intro to the story.
Ok, so this was intended to be a simple little fluff for the Fourth.
It's grown into something else.
Part of the reason is there was character building in the kids, and that turned a simple bit of fluff into a viable story worth expanding upon, and I hope you all are enjoying it.
And yes, I am aware that there are more than my usual number of typos, and iI am in the process of fixing them, so please be paitient.
Happy Wednesday, everypony!
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!
Oh yeah, new chapter up later tonight.
So, coming up on fourteen hours, with it up, let's get some info out on the story.
I dont remember exactly when I mentioned it to BlackWater, but I do know that it was while I was writing my Valentines Day story. We agreed to work on a story for the Fourth of July and that was about it. A few ideas were tossed around and eventually this reality-spanning adventure is the result.
So I'm going to be scarce for a day or two as I focus on some housing concerns (like finding a new mattresses and replacing a set of track lights) and work on Insurgence and Summer Fun.
But, tonight, I'll post the first chapters of the collaboration between my friend BlackWater and I, Comparing Notes, a crossover between their Sunlight and mine, including some delightful humor involving the interaction of our respective groups children.
