(Edit: I feel it is worth mentioning that I have no intention of making any more blogs of this type regarding Detritus. I've said nearly all I have to say on it now, and they likely serve no purpose to anyone who actually wanted to track the story.)
The downvotes start comin' and they don't stop comin'. 
Detritus, my latest story, has maintained close to a solid 1-to-1 like/dislike ratio within the 24 hours of its approval, putting it at the worst rating out of all the sequels since Blinking's rise.
But I don't mark it as a bad thing. Here's why.
