Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who responded to my last blog entry, and this seemed quicker than writing a lot of individual messages. Even though it might not lessen the pain, its still comforting in a way, to know people care, or can somehow relate.

So again.. thank you.

Last year, on christmas day, my dad had to be rushed to the hospital.
His condition had been in decline for a while, but it took a sudden turn for the worse. He's been in the hospital since then.

Last wednesday we received a call from the hospital at around 3 AM, asking if we could rush over because dad was in a bad way. We did, ofcourse. We got to the hospital at around 3:45 and we stayed there with him for a day and a night. He passed away on thursday at 12:05 PM.

So we finally got all the test results back from the Lab.

Turns out dad's cancer is a more 'benign' ( if i dare use that term ) variant. They are going to start him on an intense treatment regime, starting wednesday, that should hopefully prove effective. They caught it relatively early, so the doctors are optimistic.

I'm taking a hiatus from writing.
I just learned that my father has cancer. I just... I need some time.

How I imagine Tempus.

Just wanted to let you good readers know, I won't be working on the next update for Evergreen heart until after April 15th, because I have some other stuff going on that takes up the time I normally use to write. I did get some work done on the next chapter already, but I wont resume work on it until then.

As the title says, I'm strugling with a bit of writers block at the moment.
I started work on the next chapters some time ago, but for a couple of days now the ideas just refuse to come out, and it's driving me up the freakin wall.

Now this might be a bit of a stupid question, but does anyone have any tips or ideas that might help get rid of it? Because at this point I'm open to pretty much any suggestion.

Heres a question to you readers.

Would you prefer a new chapter to be released the second it's ready.
Or would you prefer it to be released on a set date. like say, every sunday afternoon. Assuming there is anything to release.

I've been sitting here working on the next chapter, and occasionally going through the comments from the last one, and I must admit I am greatly, yet pleasantly surprised with how well it has been received. Because honestly to me the whole thing felt like it was going to bomb spectacularly.

Barring any unforseen derpies I should have the next chapter of Evergreen Heart finished and uploaded this sunday.

I'm taking a short hiatus from writing until mid June in order to both sort out some stuff thats going on in my life at the moment and enjoy a brief vacation. So please don't think I've stopped writing or abandoned my stories. thanks for your patience
