Thankfully, I'm keeping them, but still.

I'm hoping to have "A Shimmering New Year" finished before the end of May. I've utterly failed to get anything done with it this weekend - real life happened - but I'm still hoping to get more done with it before the end of this month. That said, if "Wherever You Find Love" ends up with two thousand pageviews before then, I'll start posting it before it's finished.

We'll see, I suppose.

"Wherever You Find Love" is sitting at fourteen-hundred views. It's probably the one story I've done here that's gotten the fastest number of viewers. I don't know what to say except...thank you.

Expect an update later today on the results of my writing weekend. Given how well it's gone, I might just repeat it next year.

I knew this was coming, and I am both awestruck and pleased.

As promised, another preview for "A Shimmering New Year" is due this weekend.

"Wherever You Find Love" is almost on the verge of eclipsing "Six Nights (and a Day) With Sunset". People, I need to do something to commemorate that.

This weekend, you're getting another preview for "A Shimmering New Year". I still have to write the dang thing, mind, but it shall be done. As for what the preview will entail, well...Amethyst Star and Roseluck both have another character in common, in a six degrees of separation sort of way. Make of that what you will.

"Wherever You Find Love" is closing in on twelve hundred views. At this rate, by the end of next month, it'll eclipse "Six Nights (and a Day) With Sunset" in views.

This is freaky. Gives me hope for "A Shimmering New Year", but still, freaky. None of my other adapted works have gotten that much popularity.

Well, much to my surprise in light of the reception for "Reflections: Quiververse Edition", "Wherever You Find Love" is very nearly equal in pageviews with "Six Nights (and a Day) With Sunset". Either I did something right, or the power of bacon-hair is once more my friend, or folks actually prefer my version of the story to the original IDW Holiday Special.

Meanwhile, "Wherever You Find Love" has gotten in excess of one thousand views. Well, main views, anyway; view for individual chapters are somewhere around four thousand. Anyway, I'm pleased about that, all things considered.

The editing process is done, the epilogue is added, and the story, so far as I'm concerned, is done.

What's next for Sunset Shimmer? Well, I've already sorta started work on my next story focusing upon her, with a brief hand-written passage for "A Shimmering New Year" in a notebook waiting to be copied onto a Word document. It'll be a while, though; I've got other stories I want to write or do bits with before I get to it. Worst case, I can time it for the start of the new year in 2017.

So yeah, "Wherever You Find Love" is incomplete again. Apologies, everyone, but I've had a day to reflect upon some valid criticisms of the story, and I've decided to do some edits and add an epilogue.

Gonna try and do all of that before the end of January. Here's hoping I succeed in sprucing the story up properly.

Forgive me, everyone, but I'm going to continue being a bit of a sourpuss. I blame work.

The final chapter for "Wherever You Find Love" is going to undergo a little editing before I post it on Friday, assuming that I come home early from work as hoped on Thursday and can find time to actually write. I'm just glad I don't have to work on Friday, though I'm still hoping I don't have to work on Saturday. Probably will, but I'm still hoping.

It's going to be a long wait until Friday for all of you following "Wherever You Find Love" and for me. It'll be ready, thankfully, but still.

I am glad that folks are enjoying it, however.

Thankfully, this doesn't impact my plans for the third chapter. The fourth will see some differences between the two sites, but that's no big.

Had to do a quick edit to the latest chapter for "Wherever You Find Love" due to including song lyrics. I still left the link to the song - I doubt anyone will complain about that - but still, apologies.

Hopefully, the issue doesn't repeat again.

The first chapter of "Wherever You Find Love" hasn't even been up a week, and it's already gotten nearly three hundred views.

Do people really enjoy the story? Is it that much of an improvement over the original comic? Or are people really eager for Sunset Shimmer? Or do people just like mentions of the Muppets?

I suspect it's one of the latter two. It wouldn't take much at all to improve the original comic.
