I've found that, like the title of my prior blog, writing is hard. I've had the emotional want to finish or at least continue the Mirror of Worlds story, but like so many other collaborations, it struggled with behind the scenes difficulties and emotions. I have to admit, 2 weeks later, writing definitely is really hard.

I feel like I want to, but the boyfriend is convinced I'm not enjoying it, says he can tell when i'm really interested in something and writing the story looked forced to him, yet I can't put the phone down for the life of me. I find that kinda odd, and wonder what makes rp so different. (doesn't help that silver said the same thing about my inability to write, yet enjoy the back and forth)

So, in some news, around the same time last year, when I announced the 'cancellation' of Mirror of Worlds, A lot of things were going on. Even outside of things between Silver Wing and I, I had a job that was failing, fears of going homeless, and all kinds of other emotions going around.

So I've gotten a new job, and the situation in life is now at least approaching stability.
Many of you may be wondering what is going on with Lost in the Mirror of Worlds, how I started out strong and have been really slow to put chapters out. Truth of the matter is, I'm losing my drive. I still have a great degree of emotions tied to the story, but I'm struggling to want to write.

So, It's a month later, and while we have been working on a story here recently, I have some delays.
Silver's already nearly completely done with his chapter. I'd say I'm about one third of the way done with mine. We're wanting to make sure we get collaboration on our usual 'dinner breakdown', but I also have some IRL stuff going on, as had Silver lately.

Sadly, I had a lot of time off due to work and holidays and vacation and a few other things, including getting in touch with an old friend of mine.

The good news, as the title explains, I'm writing again! chapter 10 has only had a groundwork piece laid out, and is about halfway done, but it will likely need review and revising after consulting Silver. But at least you all know that it is forthcoming! Onward to the 100 upvotes for us both so we can into the Good HiE list possiblueities!

So, it's been a month and no one's seen hide nor hair of a story update!
Please believe me when I say Silver and I both are working on the story, but we both are being sidetracked by a great deal of "life stuff." Between the holidays and his family visits, my work and my own family visits coming up, combined with our struggle to write in general, I will say that it's probably going to be another month before I at least can get a chapter out.

It seems Silver and I both are having difficulties either getting the time to write, or having the motivation/inspiration to write. We have not forgotten about our Mirror of Worlds stories, but we want to make sure that they're written well. So I thought I'd let everyone know we don't have much written yet (silver's about halfway done I'd estimate, as am I as I have my chapter planned and 1/4 written), but with schedules getting hectic and holidays, we may have some irregularity in posting

To those interested, yes, I have still been working on the story, but Silver and I both are really getting into some of the real meat of the middle of the story, and dredging our hooves when it comes to continuing the next part you read. For that, I apologize, but I will say this is making the story even longer than I had imagined and more epic. Silver also tells me this is going to make the story much more long lasting in terms of enjoyable reads, so I hope we'll be forgiven.

I'm afraid after reviewing things with Silver, we're now in agreement that I've been impatient and my writing quality is showing how rushed and 'hey, this is my first thought and I like this so far!' sort of thing.

Simply put, I was waiting for Silver to get back to me on a final meeting of sorts in our next chapter, and figured it'd be a good time to revisit my older chapters. I wanted to standardize the tense as well as add in details I likely missed the first time through. My eagerness in getting the story out so far has clouded my ability to see just how much needed to be corrected or elaborated on.
