Almost exactly a year ago, I sat down and wrote up a checklist of very general plot points that I wanted to cover for Split Second: An Eternity Divided. I wrote down fifteen major points that I wanted to cover, not including whatever I chose to end the story with. I had no idea how long it would last me, but I figured that would be good. I couldn’t really think of anything else to add beyond the fifteenth point, and figured that I would just wrap the story up after that.

In the last post, I asked you about how I should wrap up the EQG arc. Well, given your responses, I have planned out the final chapter of the arc. It's a vague-ish plan, one that will very likely spiral into something longer than I intended, but it will be the last chapter set in the EQG world.

And yes, this does mean that I'm back to working on the story.

So, I'm planning out the next chapter, and I find myself mildly hesitant. I have the rest of the EQG arc to cover, and then something important immediately after. However, I was unsure of what portion of the next chapter (and the chapter after that) to devote to EQG, and how much to devote to the next thing.

Good news! I'm done with the semester! I have a straight month to write practically uninterrupted.

Yep, I sent off the next chapter to my pre-reader. No more filler, this chapter is pure, 100% plot. No, get your mind out of the gutter.
