So, two things!

One, the fifth, and final chapter, of Memories of Midnight has been written. I hope it weighs up to all your expectations, as it was an experience to write.

There will be one more 'chapter' after this, but it'll be more like an epilogue rather than an actual chapter, and will take place -after- part 3 of PtH. As such I am going to put the story into Hiatus mode after I post Chapter 5, and wait for Calm's story to progress a bit more.

I hope you all...at least enjoy the first couple parts of it, the battle itself was tricky for me, and the final part made me cry when I wrote it. I really need to stop pouring my heart into these stories when I know how they're going to end

Well, everyone, I did it. I wrote Chapter 4 of Memories of Midnight tonight. Admittedly, it was a very...wild and sad ride for me. Without giving too much away, it is shorter than Chapter 3 (This one came out to just slightly over 5k words with Chapter 3 being 7k words.), but contains my best attempt at action, and your first real glimpse of Squad Six in a combat situation.

Hey, so expect the next chapter of Memories of Midnight to be out sometime hopefully Monday or Tuesday.

I've been meaning to write it, but honestly I keep getting distracted, or when I sit down I remember what is going to happen in the chapter and just feel sad. But I am writing it now, even if the closer I get to the climax of the story the more I have to turn on very happy upbeat music

So, yeah, I did it. I finished chapter two of "Memories of Midnight" also know as "Sylvian is going to rip our hearts out in the end!", sadly, that title was too long.

I hope everyone enjoys it, but I suspect there will be a few who don't, and to them I would apologize, but in the end I just want to write and I know I can't please everyone, no matter how hard I try!
