Being a working parent takes up a lot of your free time, no doubt about it. Especially if you are pretty much running the show all by yourself. Still, after I put Little Witch to bed and finish up all the daily chores, I always manage to dedicate an hour or two of every evening to some R&R. Usually that is enough for me to write around 1000 words.

I've had a long but very fulfilling weekend with Little Witch, celebrating Constitution Day. I kept brimming with ideas for chapter 2 all the time too, but there was no time or place to write it down during the past 36 hours (of which only 4 were spend on sleep).

However, I put Little Witch to bed a few hours ago and just caught up with the last chores that I got behind on. Everything is ready. My computer, my notes, Fimfiction, muse. All crystaline, all perfect.

Chapter one of CS is out, if you haven't read it already. Was accidentally published a day early, but I decided to leave it like that. It's been fixed up since.

Would any of you guys be willing to preread Circumstellar? I have an editor, but I'm considering different options that will allow me to write and publish chapters faster. I'm trying to teach myself a stricter and more frequent writing/publishing regiment, so you'd have to be available a lot (relatively).

Proofreading has finally begun and I'm already getting some excellent feedback from Unimpressive Vagaries on the prologue. I suspect I'll be able to get chapter one online (and reupload the prologue) by the end of Tuesday.

I think I might have been smudge overly optimistic in hoping my editor would be available right after his exam week. No, he is probably a bit more in need of a sabbatical than I am right now. But no worries, I'll just move forward on the next chapter.

Woo hoo!

I updated the Circumstellar story description and changed the cover image. I chose not to use it a week ago because there are some problems with context, but after looking at the alternative for a week I decided to ditch it. Hello beautiful art.

Anyway, hope you like it. Feedback welcome.
