So... my editors been hella busy lately and I couldn’t find time to just sit down and talk for an hour or two on where I want/should take dC/dt yet. And then the inspiration bug hit for Batty while I was waiting, so people may have to wait till after the next Batty chapter for dC/dt, maybe longer if he stays hella busy.... I really need to use him as a sounding board/advisor for where to go moving forward because something of critical importance may or may not happen while they’re in Canterlot.

So with my contest entry almost done for Famous Last Words contest, I'm hoping to finally get the end of the current arc in dC/dt going. Not sure how long the chapter will take, but I'm planning to buckle down and write nothing else until it's finished after my entry is published. It's been sitting in limbo for too long.

Kinda hard to tell, but there's one with six legs there that's Mo. The other three were supposed to be Hera, Webber, and Spi, but they turned out more like generic drones. Either way I'm happy with it. Four Characters for $35 dollars is a fantastic deal given how much the other art I've commissioned has been.

So I am somewhat rabidly manic at the moment. Someone just messaged me that dC/dt got a TVTropes page -- which I've always wanted but could never make because of the obvious problem of Author Bias. I probably just spent the last hour reading an intense amount of dedication to catching everything that made my heart grow three sizes today, eliciting manly giggles every so often when a particular trope just fit too perfectly or reminded me of some small moment I had forgotten.

So many comments from readers who want Antiquity to die after this arc. I wonder whether or not I can call her a successful villain from that? The best villains are those you love to hate, but for me that hardly ever means wishing them dead. When I love to hate a villain, nothing is more satisfying than imagining their future interactions with the character. Death doesn't usually factor into that desire because their death would be a finality that ends future interactions, if that makes sense.

So, I had a fit of manic inspiration for the part 2 of Night of the Living Changelings in dC/dt. It's the sort of fit of inspiration that has all my plans for the chapter run streaking into the wilderness clothed in nothing but honey and wild flowers, so I kind of need some people willing to read it and tell me if it's absolute crap.

So, my editors list for dC/dt seems to have exhausted itself. Some simply disappeared, and I assume real life got to them, while others I know are just really busy right now. If you're interested in editting, let me know, otherwise be prepared for a hopefully small drop in quality until I can get a new one/the old ones reappear.

Personally, I'm reluctant to ask this, as my view on groups is more of a practical one -- that they're there to group stories -- but I admit there's a social aspect to groups as well. People might want to ask questions or speculate in the forums or write fan fiction about fan fiction or something. That said, I'm asking if people want a group for dC/dt. I've seen groups made for less and groups made for more, so it really comes down to others wanting it, not me.

As a heads up, I have actually found some time to work on the next part of this arc. Problem is there's a lot happening in it -- enough that I can't feasibly break it into more parts without causing a ton of confusion, so it's turning into two or three chapters in one. Add on some intensive editing to make sure I don't dig myself into a hole and my busy college schedule and we get this gigantic wait period, so sorry.

So dC/dt is above all else a means for me to world build. It's arguably the last step before I'm confidant enough to try writing and maybe even publishing non-fan-fiction. To that end, I've made a Patreon account. It'll give me an excuse to address things I may not be able to in the main story, and it'll let me world build more. This week was great. I got a new dC/dt chapter up, another chapter is done and starting editting, and I got about 10-15 or so likes meaning I was actually pulling ahead of my desired 10:1 ratio which I know is unreasonable in the long run, but it's more encouraging than the goal of getting featured in the feature box as it's hard to say exactly how close I am to that. Next mini-arcs an Applejack one, and I can't have an Applejack arc without friction from two differing views of honesty. I was reviewing the story to see how many times I used the word lie because I wanted to make sure it held up to the way changelings think of lies. Funnily enough, almost every use of the word lie has been by a pony (or draconeques in one case) or a poor translation of the Changeling language.

It's kind of surreal how many of the little milestones I've set for myself I've met with dC/dt. I've dabbled in contributing to the fandom, but never truly felt confidant in calling myself a contributor. And while I still only think of myself as a minor insignificant contributor at best this story has surpassed all my expectations. It is the one reason I can call myself a contributor, no matter how small. I deeply appreciate all of you who showed any amount of support towards it because of that.

So I have the next chapter done, and all that's left to this mini-arc should be a resolution chapter. That being said, this chapter is not just the climax of this mini-arc, but the climax for the whole Moving In phase. The tone is different from most of the story because of that, and I'd like to make sure it's not so different as to be jarring or to ruin the story.
