The war arc.

War begins in the physical world and the dream realm.

War in the dream realm begins to spill out into the real world, with nightmarish creatures escaping and causing unbelievable panic.

Rookwood is shown to have remarkable foresight in creating an army to deal with things that are the stuff of nightmares.

Chapters will continue to be about 2k to 3k words and I should have one cranked out on a weekly basis, maybe 2 a week.

For some reason, the words just come slowly now. I have lots of stuff buzzing in my head, but trouble getting it out through my fingers.

I have a partially finished chapter in progress.

To be honest, with everything going on in my life right now, it is kind of difficult to go to the dark places I need to go to really get the work to flow. And that bothers me. Things look pretty bleak now, to be perfectly frank. And that gumming up the work a bit.

Should be out tonight. I've been reworking this a bit. The first part of a triumphant arc should be out in a little while, not sure how long. But tonight, the wicker pony! Should be quite lovely, I've been labouring towards this end for a while, hoping to get it just right.

Hopefully, it will be out before midnight, my time, situation permitting.

Rookwood and Luna's foal will be named Lodestar. Her magic will manifest while very young. Her gift will be magical polarisation. Two different types of magic that pull her in two different directions. Can you guess what these are? If you can, use the spoiler tags!

Well, I did it. And I didn't hold back. I just let it all out, let pieces fall where they may, and tried to warn the readers what they were in for. I do not know the long term effects of what I have done though. Obviously, the darkness can't stop here, at this one chapter. I am in now, dedicated, riding the Fiendship Express into the bowels of Pony Hell. What has been released into story cannot be unreleased. You cannot unring a bell.

Without spoiling what it is, I have plans to do something rather horrible in To Dance In Shadow. Something really bad. I plan to reach down deep and really flesh out the dark tag.

And I am kind of worried that when people read it, it might go too far and make folks upset.

There has already been some graphic content in the story so far, but I plan to go even farther. Something so bad, at least for my self, that I am having some trouble trying to imagine writing it.
