This is just a quick announcement to any who still care that I’m back to working on new chapters. Can’t give an ETA when the next one will come since my free time is split but I can promise that some of said free time will be devoted to it.

The rewrite of Chapter 11 part 3 is done and is currently being edited. Would have been done a lot sooner but a technical fault with my computer meant I had to do the whole thing twice.

Seeing as my editor is bogged down with life related things I’ll post the new version quietly as soon as he can get it looked at, but seeing as I’m also a good ways into the next one he'll hopefully have another rewritten chapter to edit over the summer.

Wow. Has it really been five months? Dam...

Well I got some good news. There has been progress in that time. Chapter 11 part one has currently been replaced with the rewritten version, the rewrite of 11 part 2 is currently being edited, and the rewrite of 11 part 3 is more then half way done and my editor should come back from his holiday this week.

So yea, slow but steady progress.

This is just a quick heads up for the two hundred and twenty three people that mightn't care about the state of the story.

As you may have noticed, Field trip has been on an unofficial hiatus since about September 2014 as I rewrite it. It’s been a real pain in the ass, but as of now chapters -1-10, all 40 thousand words of them, have been gutted and the old version has been replaced.
