What also surprised me is that ... actually got here, the end of Arc 2. Only took me *checks notes* 7 years. Taken as a whole, that's about 10K per year, which uh, ain't great. Its taken me so long, in fact, that I barely thought about how the plot goes in Arc 3, 4, and 5 (a bit too much thought about Arc 6 and 1000000 though). My notes literally stop halfway through Arc 3, which wasn't a problem for 7 years.

Surprise, update. Turns out being very bored at work is one form of motivation. For the first time in 6 years, I have finally advanced into new territory.

Hey y'all. Finally got to write my favorite chapter. If nothing else, Ch 21 added a completely new fight sequence between Agatha and Gladas, and a better explanation to why Agatha was sitting around until the last minute, to draw a bridge to the conflict between Agatha and Harmony.

Ch 22 got minor edits to flow better and link with the previous chapter's exposition better.

Also 19 and 20 were updated, forgot to link the fic last time FYI

Whoops, did that really take 5 months?

Anyways, chapters 13 - 15 have been updated. 13 is basically an overhaul of that entire event, 14 is a filler chapter, while 15 is just a touch up to make it more thematically in line with the new material.

I also gave up on dates because I realized even I don't really pay attention to those.

Um, hey! Long time no see.

So, the first 4 chapters of the rewrite have been pushed out, along with a new, extra chapter to bridge an arc. Prologue got a bit of a touch up.

Yeah.

On amiamera's suggestion, within a month or so, maybe after I finish the comparatively short Arc 2, I'm going to rewrite or add more stuff to make Arc 1 seem less jumbled and incoherent. I dealt with writer's block at the time by jumping to different targets, and made the story have that rather disorienting hopping around all over the place, and doesn't seem to contain that much Cycle himself despite being an above average importance character.

Hello, to anyone who cares. Diary is still being written, almost done. Got distracted a lot in these past few weeks, but the next chapter is basically on the last two scenes. Once I'm done with that, I might get started on the April 1st chapter. Its a non-canon thing, but some bits of it will actually happen, especially the magitech.

I had to retcon a few things after screwing up the timeline. Nothing major, besides changing how the parasites were mentioned in the previous chapters. Plus, I thought it was more amusing to have a stereotypical zombie curse used.

I also changed the dates, since I figured the group weren't that quick to go destroy an entire species without making sure they won't break anything.

And allows me to use a throwaway line as a Chekov.
