After a whole week of being forbidden to write, I had a whole lot of ideas built up inside my little brain, so once I finished the test, I went straight home and started writing. It's been a while since I've written a chapter in two days, but I don't think the content of this one suffered at all because of it.

I had a BLAST writing this new chapter! Chapter 13: Hopelessly Distracted was the fun chapter I was scoring for. I sat around for five days trying to figure out which fun way I wanted to take the chapter, and then BAM, I had it, wrote it, revised it, and posted it! Hooray!

Whew! Chapter 7 was a doozy, since it was the longest chapter I've written for my story, coming down to 2,777 words. Wow. We'll see how long chapter 8 will be, since it's a relatively small piece in the story, and a small scene in the show. Hopefully this means it will be quick and easy, and I'll have it over and done with so I can move on to number 9. No spoilers, but let's just say I've been looking forward to that one for a while. It's going to be awesome!!

I've been a little quiet lately, but mainly because I haven't had much to say. I've updated my story writing methods, by adopting an outline so I know what happens next and what I need to accomplish in each chapter. I worry it will take some of the surprise out of it, so when I finish a chapter I won't be amazed at how well it turned out and be surprised at where I took the story. But I'm hoping it will help with the writer's block.
